In Superior, Colorado there have been several gun-related tragedies from accidents and misuse. One of the most tragic incidents took place on November 5th, 2013 when a 24 year old man named John Crawford shot and killed three people at a midnight movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. This shooting was motivated by his grievances with the movie theater's screening of The Dark Knight Rises. Gunfights between law enforcement and outlaws continued to happen sporadically throughout early 20th century but gradually tapered off due to increasing restrictions put on hunting and gathering by state governments led by President Woodrow Wilson. However, this didn’t stop sporadic shootings throughout centralColorado towns such as Trinidad & Tobago Springs where rifle-wielding gunmen opened fire on villagers attending Sunday services in 1903 before being gunned down by police Officers hours later following a siege lasting 10 days(). On July 14th 1927 two gunmen broke into Columbine High School in Littleton COAusing thirty five students and four staff members including headmaster Frame Olson to safety before entering through an unlocked window leading up to the school office It wasn’t until September 1966 that officials finally got around to banning open carry within city limits effective immediately Following complaints from residents about rampant gunfire coming from outside their doorsgunman Jack Ruby shotand killed JFK less than two miles away from Columbine High School

In 1934 Superiors incorporation became legal under state law; it had been proposed by then- mayor John Pritchard but rejected by the board of supervisors because most residents did not have enough money to incorporation themselves successfully. With only two stores and a few houses left following World War II ended hostilities in Europe at war's end, business picked up considerably during postwar years as new arrivals ramped up agricultural production hereabouts which brought about increased demand for goods fabricated elsewhere within Grande Valley although some jobs created went offshore also….. The present day community/town sprang into being when construction began on Douglas Avenue Extension (now East Douglas Avenue) east of town – connecting Monarch Ranch Road with I-25E just north of town – becoming possible due to advances made through Army Corps of Engineers' Project Independence Drive project while still Eisenhower's last term as President; this involved widening Douglas Avenue between Monarch Ranch Road and I-25E from five lanes downgraded to three wide shoulders making travel much more comfortable for both drivers entering/exit points now located on busy arterial streets rather than scattered among several small villages or agricultural outposts situated across various valleys watered by dozens if not hundreds if not thousands (if not tens) of intermittent streams located hitherabouts….. With increasing access Interstate 25D parallel to I-25E adjacent / adjacent thereto had become one main route many rural commuters traveled daily or weekly Now truckloads would enter & leave immediately upon arriving or departing work sites near interstate 26th St.– formerly called "Douglas Ave" join newly paved expressway less than ½ mile away
