The Mountaineering and Hiking Club of America (MHC) began providing quality mounts for members in 1928. In 1937, the MHC organized an international conference on optics and mount design at Colorado Springs, which resulted in the development of conveniences like automatic turrets and dovetail construction that continue to this day. Scope mounts are devices that attach to rifles in order to provide a steadier aiming point and increased accuracy. Scope mounts come in both basic and advanced designs, but all of them share one common goal: keeping the rifle level during firing. There are three main types of scope mounts: Picatinny rails, Weaver rings, and flash hider/muzzle brake mounts. Picatinny Rail Mounts A Picatinny rail mount is a type of scope mount that uses metal rails on either side of the gun for attaching optics directly to the rifle. The advantage of using a Picatinney railmount is that it allows you to add or remove accessories with ease, which means you can tailor your shooting experience to match your own preferences. There are many different types of Picatinney rails available, including those made for AR-15 rifles (such as AK-47s), Glock pistols, and Ruger rifles. Weaver Rings Weaver rings are another type of scope mount that uses circles or ridges on two posts located behind the barrel in order to secure your equipment properly onto the rifle. This type of mount also offers an extra level of stability when targeting moving objects such as game animals or people - making it perfect for precision shooting tasks such as hunting large prey or knocking down obstacles at close range. Pueblo, Colorado had a small town atmosphere until the early 1900s when it became an agricultural center. The first settlers in Pueblo were gold rush immigrants who started mining in 1859. Mining continued until around 1880, when new mines were opened in the area. The first post office was established in Pueblo on December 6, 1861. The town gradually grew and by 1881 there were over 100 residents. By 1889, the population had grown to over 1,000 and by 1911 it was 2,500 people. In 1912 Pueblo was named one of "The Top 10 Towns of America" by Forbes magazine. In 1915 Pueblo became one of eighteen communities that formed Colorado's First State School District which lasted until 1923. In 1924 Pueblo became an incorporated city with a population of around 30,000 people and today has a population of over 60,000 people.

The name Pueblo derives from the Hopi word puello meaning "place of origin." Spanish colonists first arrived in 1602 and soon began to build missions here. In 1821 Mission San Gabriel was founded and became one of the largest Missions in Arizona. After more than sixty years of operations it closed its doors in 1892 due to financial difficulties. During World War II Pueblo served as an airfield for military flights into and out of Phoenix Airport. Today, Pueblo has a small shopping district, two parks with playgrounds, a library, and several restaurants and bars.
