The piston-action revolver holster consisted of an animal skin belt strap with brass rivets holding it to the waistband. It was used to hold a pistol in an open position and allowed easy access to the revolver magazine without having to remove the gun from its holster. The cowhide holster designed by Wm H. Hagler was first marketed in 1897 and became popular due to its comfort and convenience when carrying a handgun on horseback or as part of a cowboy uniform. The hanger system allowed quick removal of the firearm from its holster without having to remove both straps which made it more comfortable for users. Additionally, this type of holster allowed users to wear gloves while carrying because it did not catch any dirt or dust on clothing. The early handguns carried in America were pistols made in Europe such as Cutters, Walthers, Glock 19s and Smith & Wesson Model 605 revolvers carried by frontier farmers and ranchers across North America. These pistols were expensive and hard to obtain so they were typically reserved for professional shooters or law enforcement officers who could afford them. However, as time passed these pistols started becoming more common among civilians throughout North America including Pueblo residents such as myself who began carrying them during their regular patrols around our city streets during late night hours

In 1876, Pueblo's first holster company was founded by John R. McMaster and W.H. Smith. The company made holsters for the Colorado Cavalry and other law enforcement agencies. Holsters were also produced for use with pistols and rifles. In 1902, the company merged with another holster company to form Swiss-American Holsters, which continued production until 1971.
Pueblo, Colorado is a city in Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. The population was 12,626 at the 2010 census. It is the second-largest municipality in Jefferson County after Denver. Pueblo has been inhabited by Native Americans for over two thousand years and is known as one of the most culturally rich cities in the United States. The original inhabitants of Pueblo were the Arapaho and Cheyenne who built their villages on high mesas overlooking the river that ran through their community. Today, many of Pueblo's buildings remain from when it was a small village with only a few hundred residents. The first white person to settle in what is now Pueblo was John C. Fremont who came in 1849 to survey land for General Ulysses S. Grant's army during the Mexican War. He named his new settlement "Fremont City", but it soon became known as "Pueblo". In 1861, Governor John Hickenlooper approved construction of Fort Bridger which would become an important military post on the eastern edge of present-day Pueblo. The fort served as a base for operations until 1865 when its operation was transferred to Fort Lyon also east of present day Pueblorongo Park. In 1868 Wm Hennepin discovered gold near what is now downtown Pueblo while exploring nearby Silverton and named his discovery "Hennepin Gulch" after him because he had first seen it while traveling along Silverthorn Creek on horseback with another prospector named George Henry Hennepin Jr.. In 1869 $1 million worth of gold was found north and east of what is now downtown Pueblo at Mill Creek which led to name changes for both Gold Rush towns – Gold Hill becoming Golden Hill and Treaty Hills reverting to Treaty Springs later that year! By 1870 there were over 1,000 people living in what are today Downtown (west side) and Old Town (east side) areas including about 100 fur traders/trappers! Downtown quickly became home to some of Colorado's largest businesses such as Rocky Mountain News & Telegraph Company (founded 1874), First National Bank (1875), Continental Grain Elevator Company (1876), Armour Drug Co., Pioneer Savings Bank (1879), Standard Oil Company (founded 1886) – among others! With such large businesses located within walking distance or just across the alley from each other, Downtown became one continuous business district where crime rates were very low due to lack thereof than many other Uptown neighborhoods today! It wasn't until 1886 when Denver began developing beyond Downtown into their present-day boundaries that Crime Rates began Increaseing significantly!! In 1912 Don Pratt founded Pratt Tire & Rubber company which would become one of America’s leading tire manufacturers and continue producing tires even today inside Downtown still today !!!!!

Pueblo, Colorado is a small town located in the southwest corner of the U.S. state of Colorado. The population was 9,151 at the 2010 census, making it the eighth-most populous municipality in Colorado and one of eight municipalities inColorado that are considered part of metropolitan Denver. Pueblo is bordered by Aspen to the east and south, Golden to the north, Aurora to the northwest and Clear Creek to the west. The first European settlers arrived in what is now Pueblo on November 16, 1847 – three years after Fort Laramie was founded. The original name for Pueblo, San Juan Capistrano de Portales (or San Carlos), was chosen because Spanish missionaries had found an old Spanish mission there earlier that year. The people who later moved into Pueblo were called "Mescalero" or "Navajo." By 1860, most residents of Pueblo were Mexican Americans who came from Walnut Hills and other nearby towns due to land grants given by President James K. Polk as part of his New Deal program during World War I. In 1903, when Denver became a city, both areas within what would becomeDenver County were included within its boundaries: eastern Denver County and western Denver County including Pueblo proper until 1912 when they were annexed into Aurora County along with other villages in Aurora Township including Aurora Heights and Northglenn before becoming their own independent municipalities again in 1932 when all but Aurora Township were incorporated intoDenver City limits). In 1907 Western Slope oil well owner John Dickey leased 2/3rds of Mesa Street from Consolidated Gas Light companies interests so he could drill for oil northeastward under Interstate 25 between Interstate 70 junction near Aspen Junction eastward about 8 miles (13 km) along Mesa Street then turn southeast on Mesa Street past Present day Kansas Avenue (now US Highway 24) which forms border between Aurora Township since northeastern edge of present day Aurora Boulevard continued as today’s US Highway 24 following right bank thereof just beyond southern tip of long spit extending into Manitou Mountains National Park & Wildlife Refuge while southwestern edge continuing past present day First Avenue NE currently served by Amtrak’s “Aurora” station lies immediately adjacent & also included herein although mostly unenclosed area lying east & southeastly adjacent portion lying almost due north westerly side generally flat Topography being gently rolling ecoregional surface forming depression typically measuring 1-1/2 miles wide × 3-1/4 miles deep surrounded by mountains To read more about this history please see our History section on this website
Pueblo, Colorado was founded in 1776 by the Pueblo Revolt. The revolt began when the Pueblo people were forced to cede their land to Spanish settlers. The Spanish built a fort in Pueblo and taxes were levied on the village's inhabitants. In 1781, after years of peaceful protests, the Pueblos revolted again and this time they succeeded in driving out the Spanish forces. They formed their own government, called the Republic of Taos, which lasted until 1847.
