The history of holsters in Parker, Colorado began with the creation of the Parker Pistol Company in 1892. The company produced pistols and holster designs that are still popular today. In 1907, the company moved to its current location in Parker and continued to produce holsters until 1976.

He named the town after his brother-in-law, James Ainslie, who had relocated to the area from Ontario Canada earlier that year. Parker's store was one of the first businesses in Parkersville section of south Denver. The store stayed open until 1918 when it closed due to financial difficulties. In 1935,Parker experienced another boom with the opening of its first post office which remains in operation today. That same year saw the construction of Parker High School which remains one of Parkers most iconic landmarks today. In 1951, Parkers first fire department was established and continues to serve the community to this day. Today, much has changed for Parker since John H. Parker Jr.'s arrival in 1870: The population has grown steadily over the years reaching over 4,000 residents now; yet there has been no change whatsoever in the spirit or characterof this small town - whether it be its traditional Fourth Of July Parade or friendly relationship with neighbouring townsfolk across Colorado Springs; all remain unchanged!

Parker, Colorado is a small community located in the San Miguel County seat of Huachuca. It was founded in 1875 by the Carroll brothers, who named it for General John Parker, an American Civil War general. By the early 20th century, Parker had become a popular tourist destination due to its natural beauty and historical significance. In 1925, the town was renamed after Irvin A. Houston, one of the first white men to visit what is now Mexico City. In recent years, Parker has been resurgent as a commercial and cultural center due to its proximity to Telluride and other major ski resorts.

The town developed as a small community with few residents until it grew rapidly during the late 1800s due to its location on the edge of largest gold mine in North America, the Cache Creek Gold Mines. In 1907, Parker became an unincorporated community within Asotin County. In 1912, Parker incorporated as a town and remained that way for nearly seventy years until becoming an unincorporated community again on July 1, 1995.
