He killed six people before being shot dead by police officers who responded to the scene on October 1st of that year. This event helped launch America into World War I which directly affected Parker County although there were no military engagements taking place in our town during those years thank goodness! However, industry did start up quickly after World War I thanks largely to advancements in technology such as airplane manufacturing and radio communications which allowed for more efficient manufacturing processes outside of town! Post-World War II saw an increase in crime rates throughout American cities due primarily to gangssters looking forIllegal weapons rather than face prosecution or financial losses when selling their products! Parker is a small town in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The population was 1,564 at the 2010 census. Parker is part of the Denver-Aurora-Lakewood Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first people to live in what is now Parker were Native Americans who hunted and gathered game around the area for subsistence. The first European to visit this area was Antonio Vallejo on July 25, 1776, while exploring the region for possible settlements. He named the area "Parks." In 1847, Arapaho Indians led by Chief John Chivington attacked and burned down the towns of Canon City and Grand Junction in Douglas County because they believed new settlers were coming into their territory to take away their hunting grounds. This attack increased tensions between various groups in western Colorado and had a lasting impact on local politics and community life. In 1871, Asahel Steele founded Parkersburg (later Parkersburg) as an agricultural village near where Parker now stands. It became a dry goods store and post office before being renamed Parker in 1887 when it became part of Douglas County. In 1902, annexation of Adams County made Parkersburg become an incorporated municipality under California law; however it reverted back to its original name after only one year when Adams County annexed Jefferson National Forest (now Rocky Mountains National Park). In 1909, George Wuerth built his large ranch house in present-day Parker which he used as his summer home until his death in 1949. He bequeathed $10 million to fund Western State University which was established at nearby Fort Collins in 1960 with portions of his estate.* In 1959–1960, Ulysses S.- Grant High School opened its doors as one of two high schools within Weld County accredited by the State Board Of Education* With its addition came muchneeded competition for students living outside Aurora or Denver who previously attended only public schools within those cities limits.* In 2006*, Weld Community College opened its doors adjacent to Ulysses S.-Grant HS† making it possible for students from both Aurora and Douglas counties† to receive quality education close to home without leaving their neighborhoods!‡
