Bipedalism is the only known form of human locomotion that requires both feet to walk. The first bipedal humans may have appeared around 45,000 years ago in the Middle East. For most of human history, bipedality was a rare or Class IIIA ability. However, with the advent of agriculture and other technological advances, bipedality became more common and widespread. Today, about 50% of the world's population lives in areas where bipedality is either common or universal. The invention of the wheel allowed for increased transportation and trade across large distances. This change led to a new appreciation for distance and Multipurpose Technology (MULTIPURPOSE TECHNOLOGY). With MULTIPURPOSE TECHNOLOGY comes an increase in opportunities for people to interact with their environment on many levels simultaneously- from walking to driving cars. Bipedalism has become an increasingly important aspect of today's society because it allows us to do multiple things at once and allows us to be more productive members of our communities.

There is not much known about bipods before the early 21st century, though there are some references to them. In the year 20xx, a bipod-like device was used in an experiment that went wrong and resulted in the explosion of a scientific facility. However, this does not seem to be the first time bipods have been mentioned. A document from 2111 mentions that some kind of "bipedal vehicle" has been around for years and is still being experimented with today.
Longmont is a small town in Colorado, United States. The population was 5,883 at the 2010 census. It is the seat of Longmont County. The downtown area has a mix of old and new buildings, including a Guaranty Savings Bank building dating back to 1887. The name "Longmont" originated from the Spanish words "largo," meaning "long," and "monte," meaning mountain. In 1776, General George Washington's army passed through Longmont on their way to Fort Laramie in Wyoming Territory. The site of present-day Longmont was chosen as the temporary capital of Colorado because it had an abundance of water resources suitable for irrigation agriculture and its location on high ground made it difficult for Indian raiders to reach it. In 1861, when Montrose County was created from portions of Weld and Boulder Counties, Longmont became part of that county. In 1872, when Chaffee County was created from parts of Weld and Boulder Counties,Longmont became part of that county as well. Because Chaffee County contained only 9 percent (3 out of 21)of the state's population at that time, long-term effects on local government were minimal until after 1975 when Independent School District No. 1 (ISD No. 1) merged with Chafee Community Schools District #1 (CCSD No. 1). A number of businesses located in or near Longmont were founded during this time: Wacoal Shoes by Harry Jameson & Sons in 1917; JBL Electric Guitar Corporation in 1923; Continental Canaries restaurant & bar first opened its doors in 1925; Anheuser-Busch reached a sales peak in 1928 with its purchase of Crispin Porter Flour Co.; Marshall Fields began producing clothing there in 1929; First National Bank built a branch there in 1930; Owens Drug Store opened there in 1935; Alpine Skiing Company leased land from Lord Englishtexas beginning operations there on Jan 1st 1937;; IBM opened its 16th office here on Oct 7th 1951;; Eastman Kodak began manufacturing film here starting Jan 1954;; Lone Star Brewery opens up shop here Dec 1957;; Rocky Mountain News Newspaper Office opens up shop here Apr 1959;; Humble Oil begins production at this site Feb 1962;; KOBA records store opens up shop here Mar 1964 In 1969 PepsiCo bought control over Mountain Dew which then merged into Quaker Oats company form Pepsi-Cola International Incorporated . The original American Tobacco company campus housing remains extant today across 6th Street from ISD HQ which houses various businesses unrelated to smoking such as Airstream Rentals., 'N Sync Tours., etc... since 1993 when NASDAQ stock ticker symbol changed from AAPL to PEP

Longmont is a small, mountain-fed city in Weld County, Colorado, United States. The population was 12,876 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood–Highlands Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first people to live in Longmont were the Anasazi and Arapaho people who lived on the Mesa Verde National Monument east of town. In 1872, John Wesley Powell discovered Upper San Miguel River Valley and named it after him because he had seen a longitude reading from a rock near what is now downtown Longmont. By 1890s most of the townsite around Boulder had been taken by farmers for produce or lumber production as gold seekers streamed into Colorado from all over America looking for new land to strike gold. Many new families moved into Boulder during this time including many of the early 20th century millionaires such as Andrew Carnegie and Louis Sullivan who donated land for development around University Park and Cherry Creek Drive today. In 1901, Longmont incorporated as a city under state law with a population of 5,000 residents. The original City Hall building was completed in 1907 on Main Street east of Clearwater Boulevard (now Academy Boulevard). The building served as both city hall and business district until it burned down in 1951; arsonists are suspected responsible for that fire also. In 1923, local surveyor Harry Hohlgartner announced plans to build an expressway through town which would run along Clearwater Boulevard north to Bascom Hill Road northeast then continue up Bascom Hill Road to Interstate 25 east of town (today's I-25). Despite protests from the community until well into the 1950s local residents went ahead with construction despite lack of streetlights or any other means for markers indicating where the expressway would go or where it actually ended up being built! On May 6th 1953 everyone living within 1/4 mile (1 km) of I-25 when it opened saw their home destroyed by an uncontrolled car bomb! Hohlgartner later admitted his mistake but still insists on driving on I-25 every day even though there are no physical markings anywhere that indicate what route he should have taken! Some locals believe that those errors may have helped contribute toLongmont's current economic decline since so few people know about or use I-25 today! A major event in Longmont's history came during November 9th 1999 when two terrorists detonated explosives devices outside FBI headquarters just south of downtown after successfully wounding three police officers before detonating their device inside! This attack increased public attention to safety concerns across eastern Colorado following previous terrorist attacks against U.S soil elsewhere less than 24 hours earlier in Littleton!!! One year later another terrorist explosion occurred at Fort Collins Federal Building injuring 3 civilians before detonating their device inside!!! These incidents made Longmont one of busiest cities in western Montana during this time!! There has been no regular terror attack here ever since!!!!! In fact we've only had one non violent crime per decade!!!!!! Incredible !! LONGMONT'S FIRST BUSINESSES: "DELIVERANCE" AND "WILDERNESS". In 1896 mail order grocer DeLiverance started operations out front on East Capitol Avenue just southwest corner College Avenue - right next door where Golden Corral now stands! For years they operated out front without any regard for privacy - customers could see each other coming and going without censorship!!!! From these early beginnings DeLiverance quickly became known among locals as 'the market'!!! They quickly gained a reputation for being honest brokers offering quality goods at fair prices - something which still holds true today some 150 years later!!!!! DeLiverance closed its doors back in 1916 but reopened again just recently under new ownership with more modern equipment thanks to some very savvy investors!!!!!!!!
