The city was founded in 1871 by55 men who left Fort Lyon to establish a trading post on the Arkansas River. Today, Littleton has a population of over 150 and strong cultural and economic ties to its neighboring cities and towns. As an American town settled by men who left Fort Lyon for reasons unknown, bullets played a significant role in the development of Littleton as an agricultural community and major manufacturing center. Bullets were used extensively during World War I and II, when Littleton became both an important munitions production site and military training ground. Today, bullet production is limited largely to commemorative memorabilia such as medals or buttons, but ammunition remains a critical part of Littleton’s economy and culture. The origins of bullets can be traced back more than two centuries ago when French soldiers fought against British forces in what is now western Canada. One account says that General Pierre Lescarbot designed firearms based on designs he had seen while fighting in Canada; these weapons would later become known as muskets. It wasn’t until 1795 that any serious attempts were made at creating handguns using powder prepared from deer shot—this process would eventually lead to pistols like the Browning Rifle. During the Revolutionary War period, rifles were primarily manned by artillerymen who could only fire grapeshot or ballista shots which were very inaccurate unless fired from close range. This lack of firepower led many troops to switch over to rifle use after they realized they couldn’t defeat their opponents with cannonfire alone. In 1871, 55 men left Fort Lyon for what would become Littleton after purchasing land on the Arkansas River southward from Denver (the original site). The post served as a trading post until it was destroyed by natural disasters in 1863; however, future settlers continued trading goods with Native Americans living nearby until 1875 when gold began flowing into Colorado through Comanche Canyon.]]> The first settlement in what today is Littleton was called Cherry Creek because well water ran thereabouts.[7] A plat representing this early village was filed December 21st 1870 with local government officials under name “Apetit Village Plat #2″[8]. By July 1st 1871 residents had constructed sheds,[9] built roughened earth banks around their homes[10], erected rude fence posts 8′ high & 6′ wide,[11] hired Indian cook negroes for $5 per month[12], platted lots 3/4 Acres each & set out pickers for fields irrigated@15 cents per bushel – picking seed corn grubs etc.– planting potatoes 9 feet deep & 5 feet wide 2 years ago[13]; started ditching creek bottom this morning 4x6 feet deep; stopped 10x6 feet up ↑↑↑↑↓↓↑↑↑∞

In addition to its downtown core, Littleton has a number of smaller villages and townships that make up its rural periphery. The first people to live in what is now Littleton were the Arapaho and Cheyenne Indians. The first European to visit what is now Littleton was Spanish Captain Vicente de Portocarrero on December 11, 1769. He named the area San Miguel after Saint Michael and Santa Ana, two of his fellow Spaniards who had accompanied him on his voyage from Havana to Monterey Bay in California. The first post office in what is now Littleton was established on October 25, 1876 by J.H. Anderson with Wagon Wheel as the name of the business house used for communication purposes between towns within Jefferson County and those outside it. In 1912, Ulysses S Grant purchased land east of present-day North Park Avenue in order to build a summer home that would be called "Grant's Hill". Today's Grant's Hill lies just east of Interstate 25 on Union Boulevard near where he built his estate as well as nearby White Sands Arsenal ammunition plant which opened in 1899 and remains an important part of local history today. "Grant's Hill" eventually became known as "Littleton", because most people living there at that time thought it should be given its own name since it lay outside Jefferson County proper (which included much of present-day Denver). In 1928, when the original City Limits Act went into effect in Colorado Springs (a municipally incorporated city), portions of Littleton including North Park were annexed by the new city limits while other portions remained unincorporated until they were reincorporated into Littleton Township effective January 1st, 1961 under ordinance No.(L) 3rd Class (Public Documents Nos.(PWD)) filed by township trustee John Glynn." As one may imagine given its small population size – only 2% white –LittleTON made heavy use of advertising both during election years and more generally whenever there was any bit national attention or interest emanating from either left wing radicals or right wing extremists due to their belief that everyone regardlessof social status should have access to education regardlessof wealth background or regional location should be able to participate meaningfullyin American life."

The Littleton area has been inhabited by Native Americans for over 10,000 years. The first European to visit the area was Captain John Smith in 1608. In 1875, Gold Rush miners arrived and began to settle in the area. By 1870, there were over 100 people living in Littleton. In 1916, the Littleton School District was created and took jurisdiction over all of Douglas County west of the Arkansas River except for Aspen and Golden before that date had any school districts within their borders! By 1930 there were 1,400 residents living in Littleton according to the 1940 census; however this had increased to 2,500 by 1960 due to annexations from other towns/cities in Douglas County as well as growth within neighboring Summit County (now Eagle) during that same decade! Today’s population stands at 9,752 with continued growth potential outside of its core downtown areas: Beaver Creek Park (northwest corner of Main Street & Beaver Creek Boulevard), Gateway Village north of I-25 on Interstate 25 Business Loop & east side of U魔法公园 off I-25 just inside Of Denver limits along State Highway 24B – home to one Fortune 500 company and many smaller businesses on 3 blocks long with easy access to both I-25 & US 36W which runs through town making it an ideal location for shopping or work as well as dining out or spending time outdoors! Littleton is known primarily for its agricultural products such as potatoes, applesauce and corn; however it also has a significant manufacturing sector including auto parts manufacture Ford Motor Company and local companies like Humble Oil & Refining Corporation among others since those industries have presence throughout most if not all downtown areas!
