Lafayette is a small town in Eagle County, Colorado, United States. The population was 1,846 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Golden area. Lafayette is named for General Lafayette, who fought in the American Revolution and helped establish Denver as a city. The town was organized on February 12, 1876, by John Tilton and Wm. Haggerty. The first post office opened in Lafayette on March 3, 1876. The first store was built near the current intersection of North First Street and East Second Street. A school was built in 1881 and it remained in use until 1978 when it closed due to financial difficulties. Lafayette has two churches - First Baptist and Holy Cross Episcopal Churches - as well as a library which opened in 1984. In addition to its annual parade which takes place on Saturday evening, Lafayette has several other events including an apple orchard festival every August; golf tournaments held at various golf courses around the area; fireworks displays during summertime; cheese festivals; rodeo events; and concerts throughout the year

This receiver became very successful with law enforcement and military units throughout the world. In 1990, Colt introduced their new "Pumpkin model" ar15 receiver which featured a redesigned bolt Catch gate system and an improved magazine well design. This receiver became extremely popular with law enforcement and military units throughout the world because it offered many features that were not available on other models of ar15 receivers at that time. In 1994, Colt released their new "Introducing...the AR 15!" advertising campaign featuring various firearms manufacturers' products including the AR 15. During this campaign, Colt announced that they would release a new version of their original "Model 75" rifle called the "AR 35." The AR 35 was essentially an updated version of the Model 75 with increased accuracy and reliability enhancements over its predecessor. In 1995, Colt Introduces...the American Rifleman! A publication that provided critical commentary on both American firearms manufacturers products as well as imported European firearms was published monthly by American Rifleman Magazine Corporation (ARMOCOM). ARMOCOM is now considered to be one of America's leading publications for firearm enthusiasts across all genres! In 1997, another version of the Model 75 called the "AR-10" was Introduced! Thisceiver differed from its predecessors in several ways including incorporation of a handguard/stock plate assembly into upper Receiver construction making it more suitable for AK type rifles or shotguns etc., however it remained popular with police/military units throughout Europe until 2001 when production ceased due to stricter regulation from national governments

Lafayette is a town in El Paso County, Colorado, United States. The population was 5,859 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Denver–Aurora Metropolitan Area. The town was founded in 1887 by John Ralston and his family. Lafayette's first post office opened in 1889. The name comes from the French for "the little village on the heights." One of Lafayette's most famous residents was General Ulysses S. Grant who spent several weeks here during his visit to Colorado in 1868. Lafayette also contains one of only two remaining original Adobe Walls built by the Spaniards in ColoradO Springs as part of their Mission San Miguel de Arriba campaign against Apache Indians in 1847-48. (2006), Kiwanis International Convention (2007) and UnityFest (2018). In 2018, Lafayette hosted its third annual Bluegrass & bluegrass series which featured some of the top unsigned bluegrass bands from around the USA and Canada playing live at Town Hall Park on July 20th and 21st
