With this plaque as a symbol of success they slowly began to forget about their past while they continued to enjoy present day amenities including schools (grades PK-12), hospitals (Denver Health Medical Center & Aurora Neurology Hospital), shopping malls (Century 21 & Dick's Sporting Goods), parks (Colorado State Fairgrounds & Keystone Lake Park), etc., which continue to thrive even during difficult times such as 2007's devastating floods which destroyed many homes but did not touch Greenwood specifically
