Morgan's men until 1906; ten auto dealerships - six owned by Guggenheims until 1907 when they were acquired by Ford Brothers until their sale to Kaiser- Dodge Corporation in 1924; eleven restaurants - seven brothers ran save one closed during prohibition but reopened after repeal; twelve service stations which included nine gasoline stations open from early 1870s until 1922 when they were consolidated into five companies operated under one general manager: Standard Oil Company Store #1 at 221 Main Street built 1903-1905 for C S Lewis Stores Co.; Standard Oil Company Store #2 at 245 Main Street built 1911-1912 for I L Lewis Stores Co.; Standard Oil Company Store #3 at 311 Main Street built 1913-1920 for Wirthman Bros., Inc.; Standard Oil Company Store #4 at 327 Main Street built 1916-1920 for Bendix Bros., Inc.; Union Carbide Service Station #5 near junction of State Highway 24 & Eastern Avenue Built 1930 According to the 2000 census there are now over 20 businesses operating within this small town with more opening every day!
