Greeley, Colorado is a small town in the Rocky Mountains of western Colorado. Greeley is located on the banks of the Missouri River, about 25 miles (40 km) north of Denver and 15 miles (24 km) east of Fort Collins. The population was 26,539 at the 2010 census. The first Europeans to visit Greeley were fur traders from Canada in 1809-10. A post office called Greeley was established in 1814, but no mail ever arrived there because it was outside of Larimer County. In 1827, Alvord Griggs built a sawmill and gristmill on riverbank just upstream from what is now downtown Greeley. The growth of both businesses led to an Rathbone House being erected in 1830 as a hotel near where the current First United Methodist Church stands today. In 1836, George Wickersham donated land for what would become University Park (today's campus). Professor John Wesley Powell named one endowment for University College while another endowment went towards creating Northern Colorado Normal School which later became known as Northern Colorado State University; both institutions are now part of CU Boulder. In 1860, when Greeley incorporated as a town, water power enabled it to start an ironworks that continues today as Siltstone Coal & Iron Company with its plant on Elmendorf Road near downtown – until 2003 it employed over 1,500 people manufacturing coke ovens and other products used by industrialists all over North America The first post office in Greeley opened on November 5th 1840 under name "Isabella". It was moved to its present location two years later on January 14th 1842 after real estate developer James Hutton donated land for the new post office next door to his residence at 925 Broadway Gulch. The original building still remains and can be viewed firsthand during monthly open house events throughout summertime! On July 20th 1863 Union General Ulysses S Grant visited Greeley while en route downriver to Sandusky Ohio after defeating Confederate General Robert E Lee at Gettysburg National Military Park; he stayed at Mrs Hutton's home until August 10th when he returned back upriver to continue his campaign through Erie County After serving four terms as Mayor from 1955-1959 and again from 1965-1967 Bob Moffatt served one term unexpired term before leaving politics altogether due to health concerns In 1984 local author/journalist Don Freeman wrote about life in Greeley during that year’s Republican National Convention which took place here including interviews with then Mayor Bob Moffatt who attended along with many high ranking political officials including Governor Dick Thornburgh became nationally wellknown for his book “GreeleysLast Hope:A Memoir of Hope and Homecoming” published by Regnery Publishing Company Incorporated Publishers since 1992

This shirt featured an image of the National Rifle Association (NRA) with the text "Never let your guard down." Another example is the "Patriot" T-Shirt which was produced by Fuzion in 1997. This shirt featured an image of Ulysses S. Grant wearing a patriot hat and holding a rifle. There are also some Miscellaneous Shirt designs that feature firearms or related items prominently within the design or it may just be imagery specific to that product line or company's products. For example, one such design features images of pistols and rifles holstered on enlisted personnel during World War II era military uniforms from The Gunfighter Shirts line (1998). Additionally, another design features images of firearms mounted on motorcycles from Bulletproof Clothing in 2006.

However, during World War I Greeley came under attack from German forces who mined copper near the city limits. The war led to a decline in trade and manufacturing support which caused economic straits for years afterwards; however, since 2000s there has been an increase in job opportunities Thanks to both its booming economy and environmentally friendly policies, Greeley has come to be one of America's most sustainable cities.
The Greeley area was first settled by the Colorado Pioneers in 1859. Greeley became a town in 1871, and it was named after George A. Greeley, an American politician who served as the 12th Governor of New York from 1853 to 1861. The city of Greeley was incorporated on November 15, 1893.
