The company grew rapidly, and by 1924 had built a processing plant on what is now Orchard Road. In 1951, they opened a retail store in downtown Fruita. By 1970, they had acquired the nearby Sperry Ranch and began to grow cotton there. In 1979 they moved their entire operations to Chama County from Fruita City where they had been based since 1902. By 1990, the company employed over 500 people at its two plants and four retail stores in Fruita and Chama County.
