This plant also manufactured larger frame revolvers such as the Model 10-15 and 20-25 which became known as “Big Berths” due to their size compared to other handguns on the market at that time. In 1950 Smith & Wesson merged with Samuel Colt's Sons Limited which led to increased firearm production within Samuel Colt's Sons Limited as well as General Dynamics Ordnance Company producing weapons under contract from Samuel Colt's Sons Limited including both military and law enforcement rifles such as the M1 Carbine and ACR carbine series rifles etc.. However gun barrels continued to be produced by both companies until 1968 when all firearms manufacturing within Sam Colt's Sons Limited came under One America Armour Corporation who then went on to produce all types of ammunition including rounds for cannons etc..
