In 1906, when Democrat James McNicholas was elected Mayor of Grand Junction over Republican incumbent J C McConnell Jr., much attention turned to Erie due to their close proximity together and their mutual interest in promoting education within their respective townships/cities respectively - this led to cooperation between both mayors towards various projects within each community like creating common libraries & parks etc... However by 1916 when McNicholas resigned due to health reasons at age 37 just 2 years into his term as mayor it seemed that all good things about those times had faded away too quickly & without any visible successor development or progress could be seen or heard about anything else until finally not long after becoming an emeritus professor Emeritus at CU Boulder he began writing articles again about consolidating efforts& building better collaborations among communities across North America but alas died before he could finish these oh so excellent articles I wanted you all to read them but sadly they’ll haveto wait till next year
