It should be noted that criminal activity rates have not changed dramatically since then despite overall decreases in violent crime across all regions across Colorado resulting from My Brother’s Keeper initiatives implemented statewide during first term Governor John Hickenlooper administration; however crime rates continue this way becauseinvestigators focus their efforts on larger problems such as organized crime) Regardless though homicide rates remain lower per capita than other states within Western US they still pose a significant public health challenge especially considering current trends regarding gun violence against Black men particularly (Baker et al., 2016).
