These railroads helped contribute significantly to the town's growth during the early years while providing goods and services necessary for everyday life such as telephone service and retail shopping. A variety of industries developed in Centennial throughout its history including retail trade; agriculture; engineering; manufacturing; government services; health care; and popular culture such as music concerts and art exhibits.
