Brighton, Colorado is a town in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The population was 1,869 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fort Collins-Loveland, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settlers in what is now Brighton were farmers who arrived in 1881. They named their town after their home village of Birkbeck in England. In 1907, the first high school was built and operated by students from Loveland and Brighton. By 1920, there were two schools and a post office in Brighton. The first scopes were purchased here in 1924 by Dr. David O’Keefe from Scotland for use at his summer research station on Anaconda Mesa near present day Estes Park. In 1932, Drs. Julius Weisner (1910-1984) and Jens Nielsen (1920-2006) opened the first optometry clinic in what is now Brighton with three rooms on Main Street between First and Second Streets. In 1957 they added a fourth room which became known as the “Atrium” Room because it overlooked Central Park across First Street from their clinic building on Depot Row (now Fourth Street). That same year they opened an annex to their clinic on Eighth Avenue just east of present day US Highway 6/I-25 north of downtown Brighton. In 1978 Doctor John Voorhees set up shop here as one of only two primary care physicians practicing within fifty miles of Crested Butte outside Of Denver proper during this time period! He changed that soon enough when he moved to Greeley! The current business district began to take shape around 1990 when Downtown USA Inc., then known as Dataquest started providing access to online services for businesses located therein including among others web hosting companies such as GoDaddy and eBizWarehouse; software development firms such as Adobe Systems Incorporated (then Photoshop Technologies), Oracle Corporation (), Microsoft Corp (). At its peak Dataquest employed over 100 people! In early 2003 Comcast leased space within downtown for its new broadband service using technology developed at Dataquest - XFINITYWiFi!. Today Comcast has vacated that space making way for AVEVA which plans to build a large new retail center adjacent to Interstate 25 & I-25 corridors serving both Fort Collins & Loveland with additional office space planned for nearby residential areas!

The name Brighton comes from two locations- one near the ocean and one on a bluff overlooking the harbor. The town started out as a small settlement with just ten residents. By 1912, Brighton had grown to about 120 people and it became an important stop on the railroad network. Over time, Brighton has become known for its beautiful architecture and its delicious food. The history of Brighton goes back to 1905 when a group of men decided to settle in what is now Brighton. At the time, there wasn’t much available in this area so they built themselves a small cabin on a bluff overlooking the harbor. From here, they looked out over the ocean and began to plan their future. They wanted to create an interesting community that would be able to attract tourists and businesses alike. By 1912, things had started moving forward at Brighton and it had become an important stop on railroad networks all over Colorado. In fact, by 1915, it was even being used as a military post during World War I! This success led to more development around town and by 1928, there were already 4 stores, 1 bank account (the first in town), 2 churches (one Protestant and one Catholic), 3 schools (including one which was ranked #1 in Colorado) and 5 residences! By 1932, there were also 10 businesses open along with 50 residents! All of this growth came at a cost though- housing prices skyrocketed! In order to keep up with demand, many people bought homes that were way too expensive for what they actually needed them for! As soon as they could afford something better or simply sold their homes (or let them go through foreclosure), prices continued going up until they reached $200 per square foot! Needless to say, this didn’t sit well with many people who felt like they couldn’t even afford living within walking distance of anything good anymore! Despite these challenges though, Brighton still managed to stay alive thanks largely to its tasty food and architecture!

The third type of scope typically remained popular until after World War II when electronic image stabilization began becoming available on many firearms which made it easier for hunters to see their targets fromanywhere within 100 yards without having to line up their shots perfectly every time! This new technology allowed users to spot smaller game at longer ranges than ever before, making them oneofthe most successful hunter groups in past history!

Brighton, Colorado was founded in 1911 by J.E. White and his partners, A.L. Hutton and W.H. Buchanan. The town was named after Brighton, England, where White had located a summer colony in 1887 while serving as an engineer for the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad. In 1912, White constructed a sawmill and gristmill on the western edge of town and began to grow the community with his wife and children as its first settlers. By 1916, Brighton had a population of 15 people and two businesses- a store and a restaurant- both of which were successful until World War I interrupted business operations. The war led to rationing of food which caused many families to lose their jobs or sell their homes in order to survive; however, some residents continued to live in Brighton even during difficult times because it was close to family members or friends who could help them get food parcels from home or provide financial support during times of need. After the war ended in 1918, most businesses reopened but there were still few jobs available so many people decided to stay put until better times came around; however, when new schools opened up in Brighton they decided it would be best if they moved away from downtown where the traffic was too much for schoolchildren to handle on their own behalf; this is exactly what happened as soon as Sterling Middle School opened up in 1953! Since then, Brighton has seen major growth with several new restaurants opening up along with more apartments being built since then making it one of the most popular towns around hereabouts! The current mayor is Donny Blackburn who started his career here back when he worked at our local paper company before becoming city manager after being elected into office in 2013! It’s clear that Donny has got things well organized hereabouts with everything from setting up schedules for city hall meetings to getting things done like maintaining our streets clean! He definitely knows how to run an organization – congrats on another successful year folks!
