During World War II, many Americans turned to Air Guns as a way to help contribute their voice against war effort. Many civilians collected surplus military planes and parts so they could build their own aircraft using these parts as targets or shooting galleries inside their homes or businesses (the term “airgunning”originally referred solely to this activity). As firearms production decreased during World War II due to heavy demand from Army soldiers fighting in Europe, many people began purchasing Air Guns as replacements for pistols or shotguns Due to their ease-of-use (and lack of training) many new owners found themselves using them primarily for target practice rather than hunting large game animals like deer or hogs

Aurora, Colorado is a small town in Weld County, Colorado, United States. The population was 3,849 at the 2010 census. It is the largest municipality in Weld County by area and second-largest municipality by population after Grand Junction. Aurora was incorporated as a village on February 14, 1903. On November 16, 1959, it became an unincorporated community when Aurora Annex Township merged with other unincorporated communities in Weld County to form Aurora Township. The name of the town originated from two Pioneer Days events where residents voted to rename themselves "Aurora" for the night of November 15th and 16th of that year. The city of Aurora was founded on December 13th 1876 by John Davenport and James Waddell as the first permanent settlement in what would become Weld County. A post office called Davenport was established in 1877, and remained in operation until it was discontinued on October 1st 1909. The first settler to arrive in what would become Aurora was George Haggerty who arrived on July 17th 1879 with his family from Illinois. Mr Haggerty erected a cabin near present day First Street and Post Road which served as the first permanent hotel in what would become Aurora. As early as 1881 there were reports of gold mines being located nearby within 10 miles (16 km). By 1886 there were over 20 mining operations operating within a ten mile radius of present day downtown Aurora On January 1st 1889 the City of Denver annexed all but one township in Weld County; Erie Township included part of present day Aurora Downtown Aurora became umbrella city for all businesses within its boundaries including those outside corporate boundaries In 1905 James Waddell constructed Whatcom School District #2 Administration Building which still stands today across from Park Elementary School

Aurora's rich history can be traced back to 1868 when gold was discovered near Golden by prospectors led by Kit Carson. Initially, auroras were seen as mere hallucinations due to limited lighting capabilities on these high mountains but soon enough they began to appear in photos taken by explorers such as Carson. By 1892, auroras had become so prevalent that businesses started setting up shop outside of town to capitalize on their potential tourist trade. With this new development came increased development pressure on already crowded streets and sidewalks which contributed significantly to Aurora's current form- an ever-growing mixture of pre-war homes with later additions used for housing developments such as Park Hills and North Campus followed by more recent apartment buildings like Grand View Court Apartments and First Presbyterian Church among many others throughout its history - making it one of today's most vibrant American cities with plenty going on even on sleepy old Main Street!
Aurora, Colorado was founded on November 12, 1866, by James W. Kapp and John P. Morin. The city was named for the Aurora Borealis, a northern Lights phenomenon.
