By 1990-1991 however, ArvADA had begun to experience significant revitalization including construction of new housing developments along major arterial streets such as Welton Road (now called Garden Lane) and Sherman Boulevard; renovation or reconstruction of old buildings; establishment of business ventures; etc., resulting in an overall increase in population by more than 25%. The current downtown core began being developed beginning around 2000 while most residential areas were built beginning around 2010 or later
