In 1909, Wagoner donated land to build a school and playground on his property. The school served grades K-12 until it closed in 1978; however, there are still some evidences of its construction today including bricks and stone blocks near the front door. In 1916, Harry Haldeman purchased all but two acres of what would become Yucca Valley from Payson Wagoner for $10 per acre ($640 total). He built two small homes on this land – one called "The Villa" and another called "Haldeman's Hill". When World War II began, Haldeman decided to take advantage of America's war production capabilities by manufacturing components for military vehicles overseas instead of shipping them back home. To accomplish this he set up four small plants along Highway 395 north of town – Plant 1 (which produced gasoline tanks), Plant 2 (hearth gas turbines), Plant 3 (radar receivers) and Plant 4 (steel plates). By 1945 all these plants had gone out of business due to overproduction caused by World War II exhaustion rates coupled with increasing competition from other nations during the postwar era. However, even after these plants went bankrupt Haldeman kept an eye on his properties around town; he formed an investment company with three friends named Haldeman-Ferguson Paper Company Ltd., started farming hay fields next to his house on Yuma Street and began selling lumber products door to door beginning in 1948. Over time many new businesses cropped up around town such as restaurants (Sparks Mexican Grill being founded in 1952), retail stores like Sears & Roebuck Store #1 (founded 1954), Ruby Tuesday restaurant #2 (opened 1955) and more recently Applebee's restaurant #3 which opened in 1988 just outside the boundariesof present day town limits

Buchanan tried to continue some aspects of Reconstruction while also implementing new policies that favored white supremacists over African Americans. This caused tension between black Americans and Republicans throughout his term as president.
Yucca Valley is a small town in San Bernardino County, California. It was founded in 1885 by John C. Frary and his brother-in-law George A. Smith as a mining town.
