Eventually housing developments sprang up along North Main Street in downtownYuba City – becoming increasingly popular as transportation options improved throughout Greater Sacramento County; however this prime real estate remained largely unavailable to most locals until recent years given current zoning laws designed primarily for high-density housing developments elsewhere in Northern California – furthering Neighborhood revitalization efforts underway since before “ gentrification” even caught on – perpetuating some still lingering vestiges from old-school white flight/ restrictions against non-white residents long after many young professionals have moved out into newer neighborhoods adjacent thereto! Notwithstanding neighborhood opposition currently ongoing manifested through public protests generally organized by various community organizations who are vocal about their concerns but lack any organized response whatsoever from local politicians even though these same elected officials are ostensibly responsible for overseeing both development policies within their respective jurisdictions; needless to say much progress has been made notwithstanding 🙂
