This knife was very successful and it quickly became one of the most popular kitchen knives in America. After Harry Weis died, his son, Al Weis took over his business and continued to make high quality kitchen knives until he passed away in 1976. In 1954, another man named Charles Hildebrandt started selling knifes called “The Hildebrandts” at a store on First Street in Westminster. The Hildebrandts were very successful and they continue to besell today. Charles Hildebrandt is considered one of the pioneers of modern knife production because he invented both the three-bladed blade design as well as what is now known as a Damascus steel blade typeknife (a type ofsteel that is used for carving). Charles Hildebrandt also played an important role in helping to develop some of today’s most popular kitchen tools such as peelers, slicers, dicing machines, mandolins etc., which are all still used today despite their many years old design! It is clear that Charles Hildebrandt had an incredible impact on both American cuisine and British cookery during his time period!

Westminster, California is a small town in San Bernardino County, California. The population was 3,651 at the 2010 census. It is located on the scenic Inland Empire Freeway and it is part of the Riverside–San Bernardino–Ontario Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first European to visit Westminster was José Altuve y Ortega in 1821. After visiting other settlements along the Inland Empire Freeway, he decided to settle here because of its strategic location for transportation and access to water resources. On September 15, 1846, two days after Mexican War victory over Mexico at Buena Vista Hill and four days after General Antonio López de Santa Anna's surrender of Mexico City, Governor Manuel Nieto issued orders creating Westminster as an incorporated city with full civil rights under Mexican law. The name "Westminster" was given by Captain Lorenzo de la Hoz who led a detachment of Californios into San Bernardino County during the Mexican-American War in December 1848 while stationed at Rancho Los Pinos. On January 1, 1850 Mayor Francisco Crespi granted approval for incorporation with a population of 500 residents; this number increased to 1,000 by October 25 of that same year when approval was Granted for annexation of unincorporated portions of San Bernardino County east of Interstate 10 by Rancho bakedora landowner Don Carlos Gutierrez y Sánchez who had been denied annexation by Crespi because his ranch extended into what is now Riverside County

The town experienced several surges in population during World War II due to its proximity to military bases and because of its role as a shipping port for materials used by the war effort. In 1951, when California became an all-Republican state, Westminster transitioned into an independent municipality with its own government and economy. It has remained an unincorporated community since then, but has been designated as a historic district by the city of San Francisco. Westminster is located at . It lies about halfway between Sacramento and Fresno along I-5 southbound between exit 141 (exit 3A) and exit 144 (exit 4). I-5 enters from eastbound on SR 99 just past milepost 241 (the western border OF Westminster) before entering warheads on US 6 eastbound near milepost 248 (the eastern border OF Westminster). US 6 leaves I-5 near milepost 269 (west side Of Westminster), crossing over into Kern County eastbound at that point before terminating at Lake Isabella northeast of downtown San Bernardino. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Westminster has a humid subtropical climate , abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.
