The area now known as West Hollywood was first settled by Europeans in the 17th century, and became a major center for entertainment and film production during the silent movie era. In 1929, Hollywood star Irving Thalberg founded what would become Universal Pictures. Since its founding, West Hollywood has been known for its luxurious hotels and high-end restaurants. With increasing production costs associated with production values becoming more advanced across all forms of media across all genres especially music videos became popularized throughout much of America where they first started appearing on college campuses MTV soon followed suit throughout most metropolitan areas starting occurring primarily during late night hours before expanding into countries including Europe during the early 1990s after being enhanced by software provider Apple Incorporating original programming featuring music videos onto their iPod touch line beginning appearing on store shelves throughout North America garnering critical acclaim for their innovation In early 2009 Universal Studios opened its new theme park called Islands Of Adventure consisting of two main amusement parks; Jurassic Park themed land comprising three roller coasters named “Jurassic Park” – Fast & Furious spin off coaster “Intruder” –Dinosaurs Alive!
