In 1915, a second store called The Pistolero opened up and it quickly became one of the most popular firearm dealers in town. It sold pistols as well as rifle ammunition and handgun bullets. In 1922, a third store called The Shotgun Shop opened up and it became one of the most popular shotgun dealers in town by specializing specifically in shotguns. It also sold reloading supplies for shotguns as well as handguns. In 1934, a fourth store called The Rifle Houseopened up and it became one of the most popular rifle dealers in town by selling both handguns as well as rifles from all over California including Nevada, Arizona, Texas Longhorns etc.). It also had its own range which used to shoot 24-inch .308 rounds out of 10mm revolvers (.38 Special).
Vacaville is a city in Contra Costa County, California, United States. The population was 381 at the 2010 census. Vacaville is located on the eastern edge of Contra Costa County and is bordered by Walnut Creek to the north and east, Lafayette to the south-southwest, and Pleasanton to the west. It is also adjacent to Walnut Creek Park. The community was named after Captain Samuel vacuum created a water-powered turbine near what is now downtown Vacaville in 1868. The first post office was established in 1870, and Vacaville incorporation took place on March 10th, 1876. In 1912, General Electric began construction of its new plant at nearby Costal Way whichzeve it moved from Walnut Creek. As part of GE's "Manufacturing Nationals" program, Vacaville became an industrial center for light engineering products made by GE subsidiaries such as Westinghouse Electric Company (WEC), Alcoa Aluminum Corporation (AALCO), American Telephone & Telegraph Company (AT&T) and Northrop Aircraft Corporation (NACA). Other companies that developed here included Briggs & Stratton Manufacturing Company; Evans Machine Works; Humble Oil & Refining Company; Kaiser Permanente Medical Center; Ohlone Indian Reservation No. 3 South San Francisco Bay Area Health District; Amador Valley Water Authority This once vibrant town has seen its share of decline since World War II ended but there are still some active businesses here like: Vacaville Renaissance Faire - One weekend each year this 4 day event features artists painting murals around town while listening to live music from local bands throughout much of the evening including dinner at a local restaurant with drinks provided by many local businesses/ organizations

Today, Vacaville is a vibrant community with over 20 businesses including banks, restaurants and stores that offer goods and services unique to the area. The early years of Vacaville were difficult due to lack of transportation options and limited resources. The town was established on October 4th 1868 by two men named Ector Smith and Lewis Gentry with only $500 borrowed from friends or family members. The founders believed that this small town would become an important center for commerce within Ventura County because it had strong connections with other nearby towns such as Thousand Oaks (northwest), Santa Paula (southwest) and Fillmore (east). However, even though they did not have much success in getting business started there quickly enough they decided to keep trying until they found something else they could do better than farming: They built a schoolhouse which served as their administrative hub until 1899 when the county established their own school system which combined grades one through twelve in what is now known as Park Hills Elementary School District 204 . In 1916 when World War I started things got worse for Vacaville because many people left pour help fight on various fronts around the world but soon after came back home tired from all those miles away. By 1922 most businesses had closed down due to poor economic times but some new ones like A&P grocery store managed to stay open while others like Jiffy Lube garage closed during prohibition which ruined their economy even more . However despite all these setbacks young people kept coming back; by 1930 there were more than 100 residents living in Vacaville with almost no limits on how many kids could be born each year without results being seen immediately so parents just wanted more children not less (although at one point mothers did start using Eugenics methods like selective breeding). However during World War II everything changed once again when huge waves of immigrants poured into California looking for work – specifically jobs in Pearl Harbor – leading some people believe that this caused any hope or possibility that vaclavilles might escape war completely via immigration however this never happened unfortunately . "It's hard enough trying to find work here without also having kids," said Judy Saugstad who has been living in the town since she was six years old." It wasn't until recently that employers have begun hiring locals again ." This resurgence can be partially attributed to recent investments made by Mayor Jerry Weiser who has worked tirelessly since he took office five years ago improving infrastructure such as roads and sidewalks as well as creating incentives for businesses inside/outside of town center . Today we enjoy beautiful weather every day although we know our struggles continue everyday
The first permanent European settlement in Vacaville was founded by the Spaniards in 1769. The town was named for José Miguel de la Vega, a colonel in the Spanish army who had come overland from Mexico City with his family. La Vega served as a captain of volunteers and scout for General Manuel Nieto during the Mexican War of Independence. In 1826, he donated land to the town and established it as an agricultural community. By 1851, Vacaville had a population of 400 people. In 1853, Vacaville became part of California after its admission into the United States. The town's growth slowed until World War II when its population increased rapidly due to military installations and new housing developments. After the war, Vacaville experiencedrowth due to post-war economic development and increasing Latino population. Today, Vacaville is one of California's most diverse communities with a Hispanic majority.
