In the early 1800s, Susanville was a small town in Inyo County, California. It was located on the edge of the Mojave Desert and was known for its firearms manufacturing and education. In 1892, an armory was built in Susanville and it became one of the most important firearms production facilities in America. The armory produced rifles, shotguns, pistols, ammunition, and other weapons. The armory also taught gunsmithing skills to local residents. The armory closed in 1951 but the memories of its employees and products remain strong today. The armory is now a museum that features artifacts from the firearms industry as well as information about gun history.

This requirement lead to the development of military identification tags which were attached directly to clothing or body armor worn by soldiers in order to identify them from one another. These tags would often include information such as nickname, date of birth, or service record (if applicable). The early 20th century saw many changes take place with regards to firearms and ammunition. One example is the introduction of machineguns into warfare in World War I. Because these weapons were so powerful and inaccurate, it became necessary for commanders on both sides to arm their troops with appropriate attire in order protect them from being sniper-shot dead by enemy snipers. In addition, officers wore helmets in order protection fromheadshots; although helmets did not survive World War II well due à its high casualties rate, they did serve as an important part of infantry warfare during that conflict nonetheless

In 1907, the town had a population of just 12 residents. However, it rapidly grew and by 1912 had a population of over 100 people. The towns growth continued as the result of various industrial ventures and agriculture which led to increased production and employment within the community. The area now known as Susanville has seen an aggressive development program with numerous high-rise buildings constructed throughout the years including several hotels, shopping malls, convention centers, water systems and more recently homes for senior citizens and other low-income families. Today, Susanville is one of Southern California’s most vibrant communities with a rich history that can be enjoyed today as well as tomorrow!

The town of Susanville grew rapidly after it was platted in 1869, primarily because of its water access and strategic location near the California Central Railroad. By 1900, Susanville had a population of 1,200 people and a small businesses district. In 1916, the United States military constructed Fort Myer on nearby Rancho San Antonio de Arroyo to support World War I efforts in the region. After the war ended, Fort Myer slowly declined in popularity due to its costliness and lack of amenities. By 1950, only a few remain fromSusanville's original population of 1,200+.
