In 1929, when Sperry Corporation began manufacturing aviation glass products near Apple's original location at 1 Infinite Loop today's iTunes Store, development around that facility quickly followed suit with new housing developments popping up all along nearby streets such as Amherst Road and Milpitas Boulevard. By 1933 there were over 100 businesses operating on Amherst Road alone spewing out over 2 million pounds (1 ton) of product each day from Sperry's two plants; by 1941 only 10 businesses remained with a combined production output of just under 500 metric tons per day from those two plants! Sperry also led development on other key points throughout early portions of this era including what is now 21st Street between Stockton Highway and Center Drive - now known as North Avenue - which served as the main artery north-south through town connecting various business districts on both sides of Market Street southward toward Union Square while continuing eastward past Interstate 80 bisecting town center down to 28th Street; then turning northeast upon reaching Market Street again before terminating at 24th Street near BART Station today’s Google Campus across from UC Berkeley’s Park Hall/McGeorge School campus - all without ever having crossed said Interstate 80! All told these dramatic changes took place during an especially tumultuous time period during which much change was taking place throughout Northern California due largely to World War II economic boom prior to its impact upon most major metropolitan areas nationally... thus creating many more opportunities for individual entrepreneurs like Sperry Corporation CEO Hiram Maxim who relocated his company headquarters from Rochester New York following America’s entry into World War II – ensuring American dominance not only commercially but militarily thereafter!
