Gun Grips’ origins date back to 1949 when Sam Haines started manufacturing gun grips at his home workshop in Stanton. At that time, there were just a few companies making grip tips for firearms – most notably Smith & Wesson (now Glock) which had introduced their first revolver in 1945. However, Sam quickly realized that he could make better quality handles for his products if he standardized his production process and made them available at a lower price point than those of his competitors. In 1957, Gun Grips moved from their home workshop onto Wabash Avenue in Stanton proper – becoming one of the first businesses to occupy this century-old building! This move marked not only the beginning of an illustrious career for Gun Grips but alsothe start of what would become an ongoing tradition: continuous growth and expansion across multiple geographically dispersed offices worldwide! today’s Gun Grips company employs over 350 people worldwide (including 60% males), with operations located throughout North America (Canada included), Europe (UK included), Asia Pacific (Australia) and South Africa!

Stanton is a town in Kern County, California, United States. The population was 10,386 at the 2010 census. It is located on the south bank of the Sacramento River, west of Bakersfield and east of Rancho Cucamonga. The townsite was platted in 1868 by James Stanton and his brother-in-law George Wright. The name comes from an Adobe built by Juan Bautista de Anza near what is now Stanton. In 1870, James Stanton donated land for a railroad to be built through his town and nearby Agricultural Park. Railroad construction began in 1871, and the first train arrived in Stanton on May 15, 1871. The town's first store opened in 1872. In 1886, John Sutter became the first person to settle in what is now Stanton when he bought 9 acres (3 ha) of land north of what is now its post office from James Stanton for $5 per acre (0·26 ha). He named it Sutterville after himself and founded the city of San Francisco Bay Area with this land purchase. In 1902, Mayor Hyrum Smith dedicated a new courthouse near what is now downtown Stanton with money raised from local sales taxes to help finance county building projects that year. In 1912–13 residents voted to name their community after General Pershing because he had helped make America into a democracy during World War I. A fire destroyed most of downtown San Francisco Bay Area on October 17th 1910 while people were gathered there for an election meeting; however no injuries were reported as a result of the fire although many businesses were destroyed or damaged including several banks within blocks of where people had congregated to cast ballots that day. This event led to increased vigilance against fires across North America as local newspapers began using headline headlines such as "SAN FRANCISCO DOWNSIDE - A NIGHT OF MISERY" which served as posters all around town warning about potential dangers associated with elections being held at night time despite available safety measures like flame retardants even though these seats were unoccupied at the time due mainly to overflow crowds from other events taking place throughout San Francisco that day outsidefn1 .
