This event is significant because it marked the beginning of world war I which would eventually cause many businesses closures across America due to prohibition laws that had been put into place since 1865 (a result of Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation). However, like most other small towns throughout America during this time period things slowly Pick up again with new businesses opening up due toWWI demand for goods unfortunately never being fulfilled As World War II started many residents left for military service or else found work at local munitions plants but soon enough they returned home once again only for WWII to start all over again Postwar years saw growth with some new businesses popping up such as a grocery store in 1951 followed by an auto dealership in 1955; both closed within 10 years however another grocery store opened down the street called Safeway which still exists today; this restaurant has been open continuously since then! Roosevelt Township (1912). In 1923, new part of Contra Costa County was created including parts of what are now Stanton and Hayward Counties west of San Francisco Bay; this county formed until 1995 when it was split into two more - Northern Marin County and Southern Marin County - making Stanton one of only two remaining city-county pairs in California.
