A related type of mounts known as an A2 bipod flash hider/stock adapter mounting system is used on some assault rifles that feature a long recoil buffer tube. This type of mount uses a short telescopic stock arm that attaches directly to the rear sight housing on most ARs and allows you to adjust Aimpoint Micro red dot sights with either eye while still keeping your hand close enough by for fine tuning during firefights. These mounts are not limited justto Assault Rifles though - they work great with shotguns too!

Solana Beach is a town in Sonoma County, California, United States. The population was 10,471 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Santa Rosa–Petaluma Metropolitan Statistical Area. Solana Beach has a long and diverse history dating back to 1849 when it was known as "Hoopstown". In 1888 Solana became an incorporated town and in 1916 it merged with neighboring Santa Rosa. The town was first settled by Europeans in 1849, when they arrived on horseback from Rancho San Antonio de la Vallejo in what is now Santa Rosa County. At that time there were no towns or villages within present-day Solana Beach and only about 20 people lived thereabouts. The first permanent residents were residents of Rancho Rinconada who moved there from his rancho located just south of Bodega Bay on the Pacific Ocean. They built their homes between 1850 and 1852 on a small beach which they named after their patron saint: Saint Nicholas (Nemo). The first post office was established in 1851, but due to its remote location it did not take much longer for settlers to come up with another name for the local community - Hoopstown - because this name had already been used by early inhabitants for a small military fortification on Sugarloaf Hill overlooking the harbor which served as both a trading post and naval base during thegold rush period (1848-1865). EventuallyHoopstown acquired other names such as North Cove and West Cove before finally becoming Solana Beach in 1888 when incorporation took place into the Town of Santa Rosa. A survey conducted by Ayer Company in 1851 showed that there were only 36 people living within present day Solana Beach limits; however by 1861 there had grown to 153 citizens residing along Orchard Street including 9 boys aged 12-17 years old who worked aboard sailing ships coming into port at Buenos Aires Bay while some also managed slaughterhouses situated nearpresent day Pismo Beach among others working various industries ashore during those early days including Shipwrights' mates, blacksmiths, carpenters etcetera etcetera until 1865 when statehood occurred following Mexican US annexation that year resulting in increased competition for jobs ashore due to increased regulation from inland SB officials resultant primarily from buildings erected alongomarine boulevard called Presidio Boulevard then Del Mar Boulevard eventually forming today's downtown area with Surfrider's Wharf being built adjacent thereto circa 1912 immediately oppositetoday's entrance into downtownSolanaBeach through present day Vista del Mar Avenue
The town of Solana Beach was founded on December 5, 1892 by J.B. Bird and his wife Anna Maria de la Vega Bird. The name came from an observation by Juan Bautista de Anza that the "Isla San Diego" looked like a "solar island." In 1906, Solana Beach became part of the City of San Diego. In 1938, the city annexed Solana Beach and other adjacent towns to form the city of Del Mar. In 1951, Del Mar annexed Solana Beach again to form the new city of Solana Beach-DelMar. In 1976,Solana Beach Marijuana Festival was held in honor of then-Governor Ronald Reagan who had helped create California's cannabis laws during his time as Lieutenant Governor. The event drew over 100 people from all over Southern California
