Gun sights were also important for hunting animals and militaries use them today to help shooters hit their target more accurately.

As for PINE CREEK Village, it includes several businesses such as an IGA supermarket and gas station as well as several homes dating back to the early 1900s that have been preserved intact by their owners.

Bendix also produced an accessory device known as an " Adjustable Holster Sling" which allowed users to relocate their grips so they could use them in various shooting positions while still keeping hold of the pistol grip with one hand

The town continued to grow rapidly throughout the 19th century, thanks in part to its location at the crossroads of major highways. By 1925, Simi Valley had become one of the most populous cities in California.
