The Laser Sight Technology Company's original development of a device that could be attached to a gun via an arm band or strap was designed for use on rifles equipped with Aimpoint AIM-4X optics and used red lasers as sight points; these Red dot sight devices would guide shooters onto their target through use of light interference from other objects in the frame (such as glasses). This technology has been widely used ever since its creation, primarily on handguns but also on rifles and shotguns. In 1978, LSI introduced what is now known as the BHAR Industries laser sight device; this spotting device consisted of three main elements: a red laser pointer that aimed at a target image stored on an electronic display screen; an arm band or strap that held the pointer and gave it power to hit targets; and a user interface that allowed customization of both aiming point location and magnification levels according to personal preferences. The BHAR Industries laser sight device quickly became popular due its ease-of-use combined with its advanced features which made it ideal for hunters who needed reliable accuracy when hunting game animals including deer, elk, turkey, etc. The primary competitor to LSI's product at this time was offerings from companies such as Ruger Firearms Corporation (now Glock) and Steyr Arms AG (now Austrian rifle maker Stag Arms), both of whom offered more sophisticated devices such as those manufactured by Brownells Incorporated which featured "dot" style targeting reticles capable of ranging up to 6x magnification while still providing acceptability for low light conditions.

In 1850, Jens Jensen established himself as a small-time politician from Scotts Valley by winning election as Mayor of Clarendon Hills. In 1853, Robert Hahn settled west of present day Route 66 and founded the city of Rialto using land he acquired from Juan Bautista de Anza y Monterey for $200 per acre (USD). At first, Hahn called his new town "Napa" after his farm near Napa River but later changed it to "Scotts Valley." The City Council voted to change it back to "Napa" on November 3, 1954 upon discovering that an unincorporated community had erroneously been given that name six years earlier! During World War II, many Scotts Valleys residents volunteered their time and resources to help with the war effort by working in local factories or joining service organizations such as the United States Army Air Forces or U.S Navy SEALs. Some famous names from Scotts Valley include: Don Packard (founder of Ford Motor Company), Roy Chapman (league MVP pitcher for Philadelphia Phillies in 1951), Bud Selig ( Manager of baseball's Baltimore Orioles) and Bob Hope ( comedian/ actor). On October 15th, 2008 at 5pm PDTEST(UTC−7), Twitter user @michael_fenster created an interesting timeline entitled "The History Of #ScotTSValley" which showcases various historical events that have occurred within its boundaries over the years including: establishment of Clarendon Hills High School; incorporation into Rancho Cucamonga; boundary changes due to WWII; annexation by Riverside County during 1964-1967 annexation process; completion of I-10 freeway project which impacted much of this area; reclamation efforts following 9/11 attacks which led to increased development within these boundaries; current population growth rates within these boundaries resulting from increasing suburbanization throughout Southern California over recent decades.; etc.). This timeline has since been updated numerous times with additional events having occurred recently including: resignation of Mayor Michael Fenster following accusations of Misconduct; establishment of Rossetti Elementary School in 2013 adjacent to Don Packard Middle School.;etc.)

Today, Jardine-Doolittle Aeronautical Holdings Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Boeing Co., manufactures passenger jets for both international travel and business travel under various model names including DC10/11/12/13/17 etcetera
The Scotts Valley area was first settled by the Ohlone tribe in the late 18th century. The area was then developed as a cattle ranching region by ranchers and farmers. The first school in the Scotts Valley area was opened in 1881, and the first post office was established in 1886. In 1907, Scotts Valley became an incorporated town. In 1916, the United States Congress passed Resolution 8 which designated Scotts Valley as a national scenic district.
