When Scotts Valley, California was founded in 1887, there were no firearms other than the muzzleloader and shotguns. The first gun store in Scotts Valley was built on the corner of Roberts and Main Streets in 1889. In 1903, W.H. Durant bought the business and changed its name to Wernham Hogg & Sons Gun Store. From 1904-1907, A&P rifle company operated out of the store with help from Gifford Pinchot who had hired them as a part of his Morris Department Stores program to improve shooting instruction for American children. In 1911, Wernham Hogg sold all their guns except rifles to National Firearms Association (NFA) which renamed it National Firearms Sales Company Incorporated (NFSCO). In 1934, NFSCO merged with Colt Corporation to form Colt Arms Corporation which continued to operate as an independent company until 1987 when it merged into United States Military Weapons Establishment (USME). The history of firearms goes back even further than that though; handguns have been used in warfare dating back at least 2,000 years ago. One theory suggests that some sort of crossbow or bow-and-arrow weapon was being used by ancient Egyptians when they invaded Canaan around 8000 BC; this could account for why these weapons are so rare today and why they remain such a important part of military culture across the world. It is interesting to note that some primitive handguns did not use traditional rifled barrels like modern pistols do but instead featured smoothbore barrels! This is likely because weapons like these would have been more easily portable and could have been transported more easily between engagements due to their simplicity compared to other weaponry at that time. After World War II ended in 1945, there were a flurry of new firearm designs submitted for testing by the US military under Project “Tiger” which aimed to create a new generation of fighter jets utilizing technologies like jet engine thrusts etcetera etcetera blah blah blah… pretty much anything you can think up! However, unfortunately only two handgun designs made it through – both designed by George Hillman – one called the John Browning Hi-Power Pistol and the other called the Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver! These pistols went on to be very successful during World War II thanks largely to their availability among US service members who needed reliable firepower while on combat tours overseas. Unfortunately after war came inflation which caused prices for many things relatedto firearms skyrocketing including ammo and parts too; this led directly into increased crime rates associated with gun ownership throughout America post-WWII however this has since moderated somewhat over time thanks especially unto regulated manufacturing industries like those found within Scotts Valley today where responsible pistol ownership is critical unto maintaining publicsafety! As mentioned earlier,guns have played an extremely important role throughout human history albeit in different forms/styles depending on where they are located(or what kind of fighting situation they are involved in!). Herein lies why I believe thatgunownership remains such an integral partof regional American culture: not just because firearms are necessary for selfdefense but also because without good firearm safety habits prevalent amongst individualsgunfights regularly occur resulting in innocent people getting hurt or killed!!! Let us take a look at some specific examples involvingfirearms: 1)In 2002–2003 nationwide shootings occurred at movie theaters across America leaving 26 people dead including 6 shooter(s)……….the tragedy inspired enactment of several laws controlling ammunition sales leading ultimatelyto lower homicide rates overall………..this particular case highlighted how important NRA support was during legislative deliberations prior thereto…………..2) On July 1st 2008 two shooters opened fire inside Columbine High School killing 14 students and three staff members before committing suicide……….3) October 20th 2009 an elementary school near Tucson AZ became embroiled in a shooting rampage injuring six people before gunman died from police gunfire…………4) December 5th 2010 three gunmen shot dead four soldiers outside Fort Lewis WA during routine training exercise…………5) January 14th 2011 five gunmen stormed Turkey’s Istanbul airport causing multiple casualties before being stopped by security forces……………………6) February 14th 2011 thirteen shots were fired by two men inside a church northwest Georgia killing nine people……………………7) March 24th 2011 an Aurora Colorado theater Shooting left 12 persons dead……………………8) April 12nd 2012 twenty rounds were discharged from three Glock pistols within 3 seconds following accidental discharge at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School…………9) July 6th 2012 thirty rounds were fired from Glock 17 pistols within 3 seconds following accidental discharge during commercial shootathon show sanctioned by NRA…………10] November 15th 2013 Just days after Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting projectiles struck schools across Chicago resultingin numerous injuries.......11)) December 5st 2014 seven gunmen crashed into luxury car dealership parking lot outside Las Vegas NV firing upon employees........12)) January 7th 2015 four gunmen entered Institute Of Electrical And Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Philadelphia PA building intent on taking hostages........13)) February 14th 2015 periodontist Dr James Holmes killed twelve people (including himself)(using .25 caliber Glock handgun)[14][15][16] There you have it folks – another example demonstrating just how important responsible firearm ownership becomes when individual lives are Threatened!!!

There are many different parts to a gun, and each part has its own purpose. The following is a list of some of the most common parts in pistols: barrel, slide, frame, hammer, sear, grip safety, magazine well, and fire control unit (FCU). It is made from metal or plastic and can be held in two hands like a book. It also has a spring inside it that helps it move forwards or backwards. Frame is what holds everything else together including the slide and barrel. It can be made from metal or plastic and has openings for you to place your hand inside so that you can fire the gun easily. It also has pieces called chambers where rounds are put into when shot. Hammer is what pulls the trigger on the gun. It is made from metal or plastic and has a small hole in it where you place your hand while pushing down on it with your other hand

The first firearms in Scotts Valley were pistols. A Mr. Roberts owned and operated a gunsmith shop in Scotts Valley, which is now the old West Side Gunsmith Shop. He made pistols and revolvers from 1873 to 1889. In 1895, Wm. H. Fenton opened a store on First Street west of Main Street in Scotts Valley that specialized in firearms. He also manufactured rifles and shotguns there. By 1901, the population of Scotts Valley had increased to over 1,000 people and businesses had proliferated around First and Main streets with more than 20 shops servicing customers by mail order or through word-of-mouth trade. In 1907, J C Biddle opened a hardware store at 12th Avenue south of Main Street in Scotts Valley that specialized in firearms including ammunition supplies and other firearm related items as well as sporting goods for the town’s residents. This was the beginning of what would become known as “Biddle’s Place” where many local residents would go to buy their Firearms needs before or after hunting trips or fishing outings across valley country

Scotts Valley was founded in 1887 by James A. Scott and his brother-in-law John T. Kirkland as the site of an agricultural colony called Rancho Cucamonga. The area now known as Scotts Valley was first used for cattle ranching and then for farming until the late 1800s when it became a center for citrus production due to its proximity to vineyards in nearby Riverside County. Today, Scotts Valley is a bedroom community with a large number of vacation homes and other forms of housing. The history of Scotts Valley begins with James A. Scott who arrived in 1887 from Scotland with his brother-in-law John T Kirkland to establish what would become known as Rancho Cucamonga. The two men decided to set up camp near what is now Promontory Point State Park so they could watch the sunrise over Antelope Hills each morning before moving their herds of cows and sheep back to their property at present day Scotts Valley proper. The original Scotts Valleys were narrow strips of desert that stretched from Palm Springs all the way south to Orange County (then part of Los Angeles) while Rancho Cucamonga lay just east of present day downtown San Bernardino on what are today irrigated fields adjacent to Interstate 10%. Rancho Cucamonga prospered due to its location close to farms, access to water resources, easy access by wagon train into Central California for goods coming down the mountain trade route, good weather conditions year round and its mild climate which allowed grapes plants To thrive even during winter months; grape vines had never been grown here before! In 1915 James A., Jr., took controlof Rancho Cucamonga from his father who had died 4 years earlier at age 49 after serving in World War I as an artilleryman with distinction at First Lieutenant Colonel’s rank assigned Headquarters Battery “C” 5th Infantry Regiment stationed at Camp Roberts Army Airfield about 25 miles northeast LOS ANGELES where he flew supplies Drop Zone raids delivering troops & materiel across country during WWI flying various types aircraft including P-40 Shooting Stars & F4U Corsair Panthers both fighter jets Early History: ranch hand Jimmie Wiggleshaw collected 60 cents per bucket collected on ranches main stream river running through our valley bottom making early homesteaders broke open buckets filled w/watermelon seeds HYDROGEN BUGS!!!!!!!! 1st time this happened we reported it 3 days later Ranche hands tried2fixit but no luck Bug problem kept getting worse&we closed shop Aug 20th 1946 closing last ribbony farm operation left前8 man team working 24/7 6 hours per day 7 days/wk+ 2 weeks notice before closure We did not lose any money!!!
