Babbage later sold his business to Harry Wever who continued to sell firearms at his shop until 1966 when it closed down due to economic problems. It wasn't until 1949 that Reginald Denny started making holsters in Santa Monica from thin wire-type material rather than leather because he believed that this type of holster would be more durable over time and could take more abuse than traditional leather holsters. Denny's company quickly gained notoriety for its high quality products and quickly became known as the leader in manufacturing concealed carry holsters in California! Denny died in 1957 but his company still thrives today with many new generations coming up behind him!

Santa Monica is a city in southern California, United States. It was founded on December 15, 1889 by Spanish missionaries as part of the Mission Santa Monica de Buenaventura. The city's current boundaries were established in 1907 when it became a municipality within the county of Los Angeles. The population of Santa Monica was 77,471 at the 2010 census. The first European settlers in what is now Santa Monica were three Franciscan Fathers who arrived on horseback from Mission San Gabriel Arcángel on December 15, 1889. They named their new settlement "SantaMonte" after Saint Monica of Rome, whose relics had been brought to America by Father Alonso Martinez in 1793. A second group of French Jesuits arrived on November 14, 1892 and also named their settlement SantaMonte after Saint Monique de Paris; these Residencias lasted for only nine months before being destroyed by an earthquake that struck October 5th. In 1907, following annexation by Los Angeles County, the City Council passed an ordinance establishing its boundaries as follows: north to Miracle Mile Boulevard east to Lankershim Boulevard south to Vine Street west to La Brea Avenue (then known as North Hollywood Boulevard). This left much land undeveloped and opened up many acres for future development including homes near Beverly Hills and Century City outside of downtown Santa Monica proper

In 1892, American Knife & Tool Company began manufacturing handguns using what became known as "Pistol Hanger" style HOLSTERS. These holsters were designed specifically for handguns and featured two slits down each side of the pistol's barrel which allowed cartridges to be inserted and removed without having to remove the entire gun from its holder. This innovation helped make pistols more accessible to people with limited hand strength or dexterity - consequently making them much easier to carry around than earlier designs. However, Pistol Hanger HOLSTERS were also quite expensive to produce and sold relatively few units due to their high cost per unit vs. benefits afforded by their design. In 1897, Browning introduced its first handgun Holster - known today as the Browning Hi-Power Holster - which featured an integral belt loop that allowed cartridges (or other items)to be stored within easy reach when not in use (i.e., when not being worn). Additionally, this holster allowed users greater mobility when carrying their handguns since they no longer needed help getting hold of their firearms! The Hi-Power Holster quickly become popular among law enforcement officers and civilians alike because it offered great convenience while providing reliable protection against gunfire incidents: even if someone were able to get close enought o shoot, your firearm would still remain safe!
