This decision allowed them to remain relevant even though physical issues such as printing presses running low became more prevalent over time. As online editions continued growing in popularity throughout the 2000s and 2010s due to social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat where photos can easily be shared without having to go through traditional news publications' approval process), print editions slowly lost ground overall due to less attention paid towards them from readership. After the war ended, many businesses closed down and most residents moved away or left for other parts of California due to economic hardship.
