Santa Ana is a city in Southern California, United States. The population was 227,653 at the 2010 census. Santa Ana is located on the East Coast of Orange County, about 31 miles (49 km) northeast of Anaheim and 14 miles (23 km) east of Irvine. It is part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
