After World War II ended and technology changed rapidly, ATA became unable to keep up with industry demand for new products. The company filed for bankruptcy in 1951. In 1958, Agricultural Implement Corporation (AIC) was established in San Pablo by three men who had worked at ATA: George Hargrave as president; Orville Lange as vice president; and Raymond Pfeiffer as treasurer. AIC produced a unique line of multi-purpose agricultural machines called "Hoggers" which were marketed nationally beginning in 1961. AIC failed to make any significant changes to its product lineup after its establishment except to change its name to International Harvester Corporation (IHC). IHC continued production of Hoggers through 1979 when it merged into the larger Massey Ferguson Corporation (MFC). MFC continued production of Hoggers until 1994 when they were discontinued due to low demand from farmers worldwide.

San Pablo is a small town located in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. The town was first settled by European immigrants in 1847, and became a census-designated place in 1959. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 34,291. The name "San Pablo" comes from Spanish meaning "fit for pigs" because of its location on land that was once used as an agricultural area. The first Europeans to settle in what is now San Pablo were Huguenots who came overland from France in 1602. They named their new settlement after Saint Peter's Chapel which they found near the mouth of the River de la Estrella. The original mission church here was destroyed by fire in 1777, but a new mission was built just across the street and called Mission Dolores (Livermore). In 1847, following Mexican independence from Spain, American settlers began arriving here. A group of men led by Captain William Richardson founded Rancho San Pedro at the foot of present day Telegraph Hill on November 29th, 1848. Rancho San Pedro soon became one of the largest and most successful rancho grants in California history. In 1860, gold seekers discovered gold at Sutter's Mill on Mount Diablo which turned into one of America's earliest gold rushes. This led to a large influx of people and businesses to San Pablo as miners prospected for riches nearby or mined nearby hillsides. By 1870, many shops and restaurants had sprung up around Milk Street while homespun stores dotted every block along Second Street leading east to Divisadero Avenue (now Geary Boulevard). With so much activity going on it quickly became difficult for residents to get by without some form of transportation available such as horses and carts or wagons pulled by dogs or mules pullable down narrow streets with steep grades known as "the gauntlet." On February 14th, 1871 more than fifty citizens assembled at Millsbury House on Second Street to demand passage through Congress for a state highway bill providing funds needed for construction projects within their community including improved sidewalks and streetlights; this event later came to be known as 'The March On Sacramento.' After months delay due to lack of funding another meeting took place on April 2nd under heavy police escort where 500 citizens prepared to march if necessary until finally word arrived that $1 million had been allocated late that evening! A few years later another group gathered at Millsbury House when local developer John D'Angelo offered them parcels totaling 245 acres adjacent to his already operating El Sobrante ranches northward towards Oakland creating what would become today's downtown/san Carlos neighborhood with market square fronting Third Streets between Market and Davie Streets bordered seaward by Point Reyes National Seashore extending all the way back along Third Street beyond First Avenue Light Rail Station alluding appropriately enough both directions currently serving both areas like appropriate modern day equivalents) In 1898 Mayor George Hearst organized yet another march staged jointly with civic clubs throughout Contra Costa County demanding incorporation into Berkeley despite strong opposition from Mayor Eisenhart - an event now commemorated annually as City Day! In 1915 after World War I ended there ensued an intense period known locally simply as 'The Famine'.
