These plates allow you to attach multiple optics directly onto each other without having to removing entire weapons barrels!

As with Weaver style mounts, this type also requires modification - typically involving purchase of a specialized tool or conversion kit - but again, there are variations which omit posts altogether (i.e., look like conventional gun stocks).
