In 1892, Mr. Harry Pogue designed and built the world’s first all-metal 3 inch red dotgunsight known as the “Pogue Rifle Sight” which became popular among shooters throughout America. This device allowed shooters to target specific areas with ease and enabled them to take advantage of modern firearms technology such as crossfire capability. By 1904, gun sights had evolved considerably and were being created specifically for shotguns using aperture rear sights that opened up onto distinct circles that let shooters know where they were placed within their shotgun firing range while still permitting accurate shooting over long distances without having to recompose each time they fired a shot. In 1960, when CA Statehood was granted to California, San Marino became its 11th city and home to most of its government buildings including the Mayor's office and City Council chambers as well as most public schools within sight or sound of downtown streetscapes still unchanged from centuries past including Our Lady Of Guadalupe Parish School District No. 2 Schoolhouse on Montezuma Highway across from today's Civic Center Park before that it had been an agricultural center with mowed lawns surrounding small dairy farms with outbuildings until after Prohibition ended it had become one of America's "last frontier" areas renowned for wine production some would say overrated according to some since then prices have greatly inflated largely because quality has diminished due to yield shrinkage caused by climate change primarily caused by increased vineyards near urban centers like Ensenada In recent years redevelopment efforts are underway focused around light industrial/office park employment growth anchored by a new shopping mall planned for 2020 called Northpark Plaza though that project faces significant opposition from local residents who feel their villages will be displaced if larger developments are built adjacent to them despite there being no housing development plans announced yet

The first priest, Father Filippo Salvatore, arrived in 1855. By 1870, the population had increased to 375 people and it had its own schoolhouse. In 1875, san Marino became an Apostolic Prefecture (a type of territorial jurisdiction) with its own bishopric and ecclesiastical government. On November 16th of that year, San Marino achieved full independence from Rome as a separate state under the name of San Marino Republic. In 1935, after years of negotiation and some acrimony between Rome and Venice over control over water resources in the region, San Marino became an autonomous province within Veneto with its own governor and parliamentarians. The economic development of san Marino during this time period was quite sporadic due to lack of resources. However, there were some important endeavors such as the construction of a hydroelectric powerplant in 1955 which solved one problem facing the republic at that time-energy shortages caused by Italy’s failure to build any new dams since World War II . During this time period too there was also significant progress made in terms of education with several high schools being built as well as a university established in 1967 which has continued operations until now( ). Some interesting developments during these years include the introduction into san Marino (in 1969) or later amendment thereto (in 1993) to allow same-sex marriage;San Marino becoming part observer state at United Nations for human rights purposes starting in 2006;and finally becoming fully independent from Italy on April 15th 2014
