Officers arrived to find three men fighting inside the building and were able to reduce the violence by using tear gas and beanbag rounds. There was no injuries reported during this incident. In October 2015, law enforcement agencies responded to reports of individuals fighting outside a local church in La Crescenta Heights. After arriving on scene, officers discovered that several people had been sprayed with pepper spray while attempting to leave the church grounds through its rear entrance. No one was injured during this altercation; however, property damage was caused from broken glass following the skirmish between police and protesters. In February 2016, San Fernando Valley Police Department deployed pepper Spray after responding to two separate thefts from vehicles parked along Willowbrook Drive in Studio City Hillsline Estates subdivision (Los Angeles County). While investigating these incidents for evidence purposes officials discovered that both theft victims possessed active permission cards for use of OC dispersal munitions from US military base Camp Pendleton within California’s borders ( hence “military stationed” status ). After conferring with their commanding officer(s) who issued these permissions cardholders were allowed into custody without having their weapons drawn while awaiting arraignment or charging decisions which would then have triggered dangerousness hearings pursuant State Penal Code Section 273b(a). The town of San Fernando was founded by Spanish settlers in 1821. The name comes from the word "San" meaning "place of," and "Fernando"meaning "the young prince."
