San Clemente is a census-designated place in San Diego County, California. The population was 7,819 at the 2010 census. It is located on the eastern edge of San Diego. The town was named for St. Clement of Rome, an early Christian missionary and martyr who died in 597 A.D., and his patron saint; it has been said that he would go out into the fields to distribute food to the poor and refused to accept anything else in return. The first European settlers arrived in 1846, when three men from Spain founded a small town called Alcala de Huerta on land they had purchased from rancho owners near present-day Escondido beach. The name Huerta may have been derived from huerto (land), yerba (herbage or tall grass), and cuello (head) because this area had high hills and no mangroves then. In 1850, another Spanish settler, Francisco Jaraquelin, erected a cabin on what is now Main Street in Alcala de Huerta; he named it San Lorenzo del Sur because of its location adjacent to Soquel Beach on the Pacific Ocean. In 1851–52, Alvarado Castro settled here with his family after moving from Pueblo de las Americas east of Mexico City; they established a ranchosde la Cueva de Jesus Rancho Alto del Norte which encompassed much of what is now Alcala de Huerta Cove. Castro became one of America's most prosperous ranchers through his production of hay and cattle; he also developed numerous citrus crops including oranges and limes but these operations were eventually destroyed by frost damage during World War II). On July 1, 1856 Agustín Fierro founded Rancho Encinasco just south of Alcala de Huerta where he built two adobe buildings which still remain standing today – one as a museum and the other as office space for his business interests including real estate development throughout much of central San Diego County until his death in 1917). Rancho Encinasco was briefly renamed Santa Fe Viejo before finally becoming part of San Clemente en 1898 when Juan Bautista Aguilar acquired it from Fierro along with other lands comprising Mission Trails National Monument within Del Mar National Wildlife Refuge.. Many local residents helped contribute to building both missions: such prominent locals as Joe Cooley (politician), Don Mencia (director general/president American Telephone & Telegraph Company), Harry Chandler (founder Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team) Sr., Mrs.(Hilda) Chandler(founder Los Angeles Angels women's professional baseball team)). The original mission structure still remains extant at former Mission Trails headquarters off Interstate 805 close to Village Center Boulevard insideSAN CLEMENTE MISSION TOWNSHIP Historical Park Area reopenedJune 10th 2009

There has been a lot of debate on the legality and efficacy of hard gun cases in recent years. Some people believe that hard gun cases are necessary to ensure the safety of those who carry them, while others argue that they are not effective or safe. The history of hard gun cases is complex and full of twists and turns, which makes understanding their current state difficult. One thing is for sure, though: there have been many hard gun cases over the years - some successful, some not so much. Here is a look at some of the most notable ones: 1) 1968 case against Ozzie Nelson: This case was filed by Nelson after he was shot in the arm during an altercation with another person. He claimed that his assailant had pulled a handgun from its holster and fired it at him, causing serious injury. The trial began in 1969 but was postponed due to the Vietnam War; when it finally began, Nelson was already dead. The trial ended with a hung jury and Nelson was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. 2) 1993 case against Timothy McVeigh: This attack on Oklahoma City left 168 people dead and hundreds more injured. Timothy McVeigh was convicted of murder charges in connection with this atrocity and received death sentences before being clemency granted by President Bill Clinton following public outcry. After serving time prison, McVeighsnamedly targeted federal buildings in Oklahoma City before detonating one of the bombs inside (the bombing killed five people). His prosecution resulted in several high-profile trials including those involving Richard Reid (a man convicted for attempting to hijack an airplane) and USS Cole (an attack on naval vessels). 3) 1995 shooting at San Francisco Saber Factory: On November 14th, 1995, two gunmen entered the Saber Factory employment center near San Francisco with intent to kill employees. One worker survived; however, both gunman were shot dead by security guards before making their escape through windows. No arrests were made until nearly two months later when police discovered evidence that links both shooters to organized crime groups operating out of San Francisco . At least six people were killed as a result of this rampage - four workers at the Saber Factory and two assailants who remain unidentified today

The first hard gun cases were filed in 1892. In that year, the New York State legislature passed a law making it illegal to carry any unregistered firearms without a license. This law was designed to prevent crime by criminals who were able to purchase and use unregistered firearms.

San Clemente, California is a small town in San Diego County, California. It was founded by the Mission Indians in 1776. The name means " sacred place." The population of the town was 7,827 at the 2010 census. The first Europeans to visit San Clemente were members of the Franciscan Order who arrived on their ship Friar Francisco in 1542. The order built a mission on Point Lobos Creek and named it San Felipe del Mar (St. Francis of Assisi). A second mission, Santa Clara de Asís, was built on Point Conception Island in 1602. These missions were abandoned by 1820 because of opposition from Spanish colonists and Native Americans who thought that Christianity was not welcome among them. In 1821 an American Pacific Mail Company expedition led by Captain John Sutter reached San Clemente after sailing around Cape Horn and discovered gold along the coast of Southern California. In 1826–27, Governor Manuel Garza ordered Jens Jensen to explore this new land and find a way to bring settlers into what is now San Clemente County. After days of failed exploration he finally found an entrance from the sea onto what is now Rancho Rinconada (now part of Menifee) through which he could bring people overland across open desert country for transportation back to Alta California. Jensen's route crossed present-day Highway 163 nearpresent-day Shelter Cove then continued eastward past present-day Balboa Park before terminating at Rinconada Beach where his ships docked for supplies during passage back home. Jensen's venture failed but others soon followed suit; First

In 1892, the US Navy leased land at Point Conception for a Naval Air Station. The first civilian airport in San Clemente was established on the site in 1928. The first commercial air service began operations from San Clemente Airport in 1939. In 1941, the USAAF established an airfield here as part of fighter operations against Japan during World War II. In 1951, the old Naval Air Station was closed and replaced by new USAF Headquarters buildings. The former RAF station became a facility for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory until it relocated to California in 1997.
