However if you're purchasing your first rifle these changes may not apply - many manufacturers now sell preassembled kits containing everything needed including windage & elevation adjustments within the box! In 1892, another gunsmith opened his shop on First Street in San Clemente. This store became known for making pistols and revolvers. In 1906, another gunsmith opened his shop on Second Street in San Clemente. This store became famous for making shotguns and pistols. In 1924, two more gunsmiths opened their shops: One on First Street (now called Main Street) and one on Second Street (now called Erie Boulevard). These shops continued to make firearms until the late 1940s when all of them closed down due to World War II shortages of materials

San Clemente was founded by Mission San Francisco de Asís in 1776. The mission served as a religious and educational center for the Ohlone people. San Clemente is located on an extensive mangrove swamp called Laguna Seca that has been used for agriculture and cattle ranching since pre-historic times. The first buildings in San Clemente were built to serve as a Catholic church and school. In 1870, there were only 10 residents in San Clemente; however, over time it grew rapidly due to its strategic location between Los Angeles and San Diego County, its good agricultural soil and its proximity to both ports. On July 16, 1886, Fire destroyed much of town including the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows; however, all but one resident died in the fire which burned for three days. The community rebuilt quickly with help from local merchants and citizens who raised money through auctions and other means to rebuild what had been lost. The first permanent European settlement in San Clemente was founded by thePadres on Valencia Island in 1786. The island was leased to Mission San Francisco de Asis, which began building a mission there in 1821. In 1833, the new Mexican government sold the island to American investors for $10,000. The American settlers renamed it California and built a lighthouse on the island.
