The history of the gun hammer is a long and complex one. It began as a simple tool used by farmers to pounding nails into logs for building. As time passed, the hammer became more and more important in the manufacturing process. In 1892, an inventor named John Sargent created the first gas-operated hammer drill, which greatly improved Hammer production. By 1899, allhammer drills were being manufactured using an electric motor instead of horse power. The invention of the air-cooled motor in 1907 made Hammer production even more efficient. In 1940, San Clemente saw its first importation of handguns when Royal Dutch Shell purchased a quantity of guns from American dealers. Gun hammers continued to be imported into California until 1959 when allhammer drills became available domestically. Until now, San Clemente has been home to both the world's largest collection of gas-operated hammers and one of the most diverse arsenals in Southern California.

When you strike the metal object with the round head, it will cause a washer to spin around inside of it. This washer will then create an impact which will cause the nail to break or pop out from its hole in the wood. Gun hammers have been around since at least 1650 AD and have been used in various ways across different cultures.

The town of San Clemente, California, was established in 1821 by landowner Manuel Nieto and his wife María Eugenia de la Cruz. It became a municipality in 1846 and a city on May 15, 1897. The population of San Clemente reached 34,812 people in 2000. The economy is based primarily on agriculture. The first Europeans to visit San Clemente were the Spanish missionaries who arrived there in 1769. Spanish traders also visited the area and built trading posts along the coast from Point Reyes to Santa Catalina Island. In 1795, Mexican Governor José Antonio Salcedo granted RanchoSan Pedro to Juan Pablo Montoya y Costilla for $2,000 (). Montoya drilled oil wells at Point Conchos and soon began exporting oil products from the rancho. In 1821, Manuel Nieto purchased portions of RanchoSan Pedro from Jose Maria Carpio de Tejada y Rodriguez for $1,500 (). He named his new town San Clemente after Saint Clement of Rome (or São Cosme). A year later he founded a school for teaching children about God's word and other religious subjects. In 1828–29 an earthquake occurred that destroyed most of what was left of Mission San Francisco de Asís (founded in 1776)). The quake resulted in many lossy crops that had to be replanted; these crops formed the foundation for much of the town's prosperity during its early years. However, as wealthier residents moved into town they lost interest in farming and turned instead to prostitution or smuggling goods across the border into Mexico City. The first post office opened at San Clemente on October 3, 1830 (). By 1840 there were 12 stores open within one mile (16 kilometers) of where we now stand! Many settlers came to this area specifically because it was free from tolls levied by Mexican officials while traveling through Baja California County or going inland towards Sonora/Mexico City – something which had been possible only after purchase by American citizens on First American Land grant parcels some time earlier (#27). At this time it seemed like everything would be alright given that General Antonio Lopez Ordericuz had already driven all but 1 out-of-town Californian bandit group from central Baja California before their appointed monthlong stay ended two days after their arrival with an abrupt withdrawal without warning… however reports arriving back home indicated quite another scene: lawlessness prevailed throughout much of inland CA until well into 1850 even as English troops patrolled sparsely populated areas near modern day Mexicali
In 1821, the first permanent settlers arrived in San Clemente. They were three families from Padua, Italy. The name of the town was changed to San Clemente because of its proximity to Santa Clara County, California. In 1853, the First National Bank was founded in San Clemente. In 1872, a post office was established at San Clemente. In 1916, the United States Naval Shipyard was built at Carquinez Point and it has been responsible for many significant events in local history including being home to America's first destroyer squadron and being used as a training ground for naval officers during World War II.
