The unprecedented level of development activity associated with this increase resulted not only in increased traffic congestion but also a decrease in quality of life for many people who lived near downtownSAN CARLOS – more than 1 mile wide between intersections – until recently known as "the widened streetscape". Measure B passed on November 3rd 2002 with 57% majorities against it despite pleas from Mayor Herrmann & Supervisor Goldstein that it would help solve their problems caused by soaring housing prices & lack thereof parking spots closeout late nights (& weekends), gridlock brought on by skyrocketing real estate values combined with changing lifestyle choices made easier by city annexation - making Measure B something truly unique here: voters wanted things done – & SAN CARLOS got them done! Today's mayor Herrmann credits Measure B with creating over 350 new jobs since 2003 alone - good news for everyone involved!

By 1870, over half a million acres (2,000 km²) had been platted for farming and mining purposes with little or no housing development taking place until after World War II when military barracks were erected along US Highway 6 nearpresent-day Fillmore. There are numerous variations on history surrounding San Carlos County - from its name meaning "place where sugar trees grow" to its location sandwiched between two mountain ranges and served by several rivers - but one commonality is that it has been home to various types of businesses and people throughout its history.
