The history of rifle scopes in San Bernardino, California goes back to at least 1892 when a group of men from the town decided to purchase a new set of sights for their rifles. After many years of production and manufacture, American Rifle Scope Company ceased operations in 1991. However, over time various parts have been manufactured by various companies using the same design concepts as what was originally created by AMERICAN RIFLE SCOPE COMPANY- most notably Nikon optics which continue to make quality riflescope products today.

It is also believed that he shot himself after taking fire from police officers responding to the scene. In total, 20 people were injured in this shootings - 11 of whom were hit by gunfire themselves. This number does not include Saipov, who has yet to be identified and has yet to be charged with any crimes related to this shooting. While investigators are still tryingto determine everything that led up to the shootings at San Bernardino, one thing is for sure: there will never be a complete answer until everyone involved is interviewed and their motives can be determined definitively. In addition, while it may seem like things are moving too slowly at times during these investigations, it's important that we continue asking tough questions so that we can learn from these tragedies so that they don't happen again in the future.
