In 1875, Tomahawk Rifle Company was organized at Fort Irwin Navy Yard by Major John Hancey with wealthy entrepreneur Wm Hite as its first president[6], making Tomahawk Rifle Company one of only two companies ever formed at Fort Irwin (the other company being US Arms). By 1896, US Arms had been merged into Winchester Repeating Arms Company,[7] however Tomahawk Rifle Company continued operations until 1903 when they were disbanded along with all other rifle companies affiliated with US Arms during World War I.[8] In 1915-1916 Populist candidate William Jennings Bryan ran unsuccessfully for U.S. Senate against incumbent Hiram Johnson [9],[10],[11],[12],[13],[14]), which led to increased interest in guns among American menfolkdue to perceptions that Johnson might not be conservative enough for some voters[15]. After Bryan’s loss, there was a resurgence in interest in Second Amendment rights throughout America due largely to Republican President Calvin Coolidge’s efforts during the 1920s nicknamed “The Great Gatsby Generation”)[16][17];-[18],[19]} Following enactment of the National Firearms Act Amendmentsof 1934 (NFA), federally licensed manufacturers began producing firearms such as shotguns and rifles subject thereto except those Manufactured by Dealer on Premises within 1 mile of any public school or church where children were enrolled pursuant thereto unless accompanied by parents/guardians holding valid identification cards issued by local authorities authorizing such possession[] [] . On May 14th 1934 Bureau Of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms And Explosives Administrator Franklin Jealous testimony before United States Senate Subcommittee on Crime said: "There can be no question whatever about our interpretation that high capacity magazines should not be manufactured again without prior registration" [] . This effectively banned production domestically of large Capacity magazine style pistols utilizing Stripped Upper receivers excepting registered importers [] . However armor piercing rounds could still be manufactured using these methods[] On January 5th 1935 Bureau Of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms And Explosives Administrator Franklin Jealous testified before United States Senate Subcommittee on Crime regarding regulations governing private handgun sales: "This meeting will concern regulation affecting firearms owned either by individuals or corporations subject only incidentally or inadvertently to taxation according SGS exempted articles such as ammunition carried therein" [] We have just published proposed regulations covering publications made within 1/2 mile thereof provided they do not contain incendiary material...I am sure you gentlemen understand my position fully" [] On February 6th 1935 Bureau Of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms And Explosives Administrator Franklin Jealous testified before United States House Subcommittee on Unloading Ships concerning regulations governing handgun sales between ships moored off shore: "It will probably be noticed that we have proposed new Regulations dealing with Magazine Arrangements betwixt Vessels Moored Offshore During The dry Season" [...]

San Bernardino is a city in San Bernardino County, California. The population was 21,883 at the 2010 census. The population began growth rapidly thanks to these endeavors: by 1860, there were 100 businesses in town and over 1,000 people living here; by 1870 it had reached 5,000 residents and 230 businesses; by 1880 it had topped 10,000 residents and 500 businesses; by 1890 it had more than 20 thousand residents and 1 million acres (4 square miles). During these years there were also many wars fought nearby – notably against Mexico in1846 and1848 – which directly affected town life with soldiers often staying for months or even years without leaving without taking anything with them but their clothes! The first white people to live in what is now southern Riverside County arrived in 1849 and named it after San Bernardino County, Italy. The first post office was founded at San Bernardino on December 14, 1851.
