Most recently, Rosesville has seen increased development along US 101 with mixed results; one result being a concentration of high-end retailers near Interstate 5 within blocks of each other while causing some neighborhoods adjacent to US 101A – once bedroom communities – to see significant declines in residents over time. Despite this negative trend overall, however, many residents remain supportive of both residential development as well as commercial growth within walking distance thereof due to accessibility provided by major highways running through their neighborhoods
