These rifles had a plunger-type magazine that allowed users to reload them multiple times. In 1923, Jack Bentley created and marketed a new type ofBB gun known as the Bentley Pistol. Thisgun fired shot pellets that could be fired with either hand using a plastic trigger knob or an electric trigger device. These pistols were very popular among law enforcement officers and military personnel due to their high accuracy and low recoil. In 1945, Eugene Stoner developed his own version of a BB gun known as the Stoner Gun which he called the .22 LR Pistol. Thisgun was used by American servicemen during World War II in order to assist in target practice while on deployments overseas. In 1951, Dick Stockton invented and marketedthe first real semi-automatic pistol using gas operated BB guns known as the Stockton Pistol. This weapon was extremely successful and became exceedingly popular among law enforcement officers due its ease of use and low recoil rates

Rohnert Park is a city in Marin County, California. The population was 66,569 at the 2010 census. It lies on the North Coast of San Francisco Bay. The first permanent settler in Rohnert Park was John C. Frémont, who explored and mapped much of present-day Marin County during his 1851 journey from San Francisco to Monterey Peninsula. He named the area for General James H. Rohnert of United States Army Corps of Engineers, who had published an article about gold mining in Northern California that year. At the time, Gold Rush fever gripped much of northern California and many people traveled to find new land where gold might be found. James H. Rohnert became interested in this potential Gold Country and purchased Rancho Rinconada from Manuel Nieto on December 10, 1850; it included . In 1851–52 Frémont also surveyed what is now part of coastal Marin County as part of his survey for USGS's First National Geological Survey (1 NM wide). His map showed what are now Rohnert Park and Sausalito with their characteristic red sand beaches – today these areas lie within San Francisco's Golden Gate National Recreation Area administered by the Ulysses S Grant National Monument Department.). In addition to naming portions of Marin County after early pioneers such as Frémont or others associated with early development there—Emmalynn Ladd (1825-1902), David Starr Jordan (1865-1945), Alice Paul Lewis (1887-1965)—the county seat moved from Sausalito to Petaluma in 1865 when Sausalito became an independent city under state law following passage by Congress of the Civil Rights Actof 1871 which granted black Americans civil rights throughout most jurisdictions south of Mexico notwithstanding previous Mexican grants such as Rancho Negro (). The town site at present day Rohnert Park was patented to George Tilton on May 11, 1876 (). The opening date for bothdevelopment is generally given as March 14th 1870 but there are no solid evidence supporting this date either way...There were sporadic settlement episodes starting around 1860 but it wasn't until 1870 when large numbers started moving into ranchland east & west chancellor hills due to good soils & irrigation possibilities." - From "R CohnertonPark History" pg 3
