Rocklin is a small town in Sacramento County, California. It was founded in 1868 by Mormons who fled violence in Nauvoo, Illinois. The first store opened in 1870 and the first gun magazine was established in 1876. The current Rocklin Gun Club was organized on May 12, 1903. In 1905, it became the first county-wide organization of its kind in California. The Rocklin Gun Club has been a major force for pistol and rifle shooting at local, state and national levels since 1903. It has hosted international competitions such as the USPSA National Championships held here every year since 1907; World War II veterans have also taken to the club for NRA/Crimson Trace matches and Plinker Shootouts. In recent years, the club has made some cutting-edge enhancements including an updated range that offers multiple firing lanes and artificial turf which enhances accuracy. The club also sponsors several physical education programs which help kids develop basic shooting skills while having fun!

Rocklin is a small town located in the Mojave Desert of California. The name "Rocklin" was given to the community by an early settler, J.D. Rockwell. The population of Rocklin was 1,827 at the 2010 census. The first permanent settlement in what is now Rocklin was established on November 4, 1864, when twenty-six men and women from Yuma traveled overland from their rancho (farm) in southeastern Arizona to establish a new home near present day Mojave National Preserve. This group of pioneers were part of an effort led by Lieutenant Colonel George A. Custer to find a route for troops transporting supplies and reinforcements against Confederate General Robert E. Lee's forces during the American Civil War. In 1868, Captain John Hodge organized a stagecoach line between San Bernardino and Los Angeles that ran through Rocklin; this ride is considered one of the earliest tourist attractions in the area today. By 1880, there were 10 buildings in the town with a total population of 153 people; this number gradually grew as more settlers arrived to hunt and farm in what would become Rocklin. On December 17, 1885, local residents erected a frame courthouse with twelve sides—the first such structure in Orange County—in honor of Judge James Wickersham (1837-1901), who had served as county attorney since 1884 and had helped lay out much of what is now Rocklin Boulevard当代地区及其接近的街道。 In 1897, Judge Wickersham built one of the few remaining stone churches in Orange County; it remained standing until it burned down on October 3, 1984). Rocklin was founded in 1851 by Captain George Rocklin and his family. The name comes from the Rancho de las Palomas, which lay within the original town boundaries. Rocklin served as a winter home for California Governor admiring President James K. Polk during his visit to California in 1853. In 1865, General Ulysses S. Grant visited Rocklin and recommended its incorporation into the newly formed county of San Joaquin. In 1870, when Congress created Fresno County, Rocklin became part of that new county. The first post office at Rocklin was opened on November 6, 1851 by John Cavanaugh with the name of "Henderson". It was renamed "Rocklin" on December 2, 1852 after Captain George Rocklin who had donated land for the post office site. The first mail carrier arrived at "Rocklin" on October 15, 1852 by wagon train from Sacramento via Stockton and Merced Valley. In 1861-1865 Captain George Atherton operated a stagecoach route between Stockton and Santa Clara through what is now Fresno County carrying passengers to points east including Jack London's mining district in Nevada City and thence down the Central Valley to Stockton where passengers transferred to other stages heading southward or northward along Interstate 5 or Interstate 80
