The history of the firearms industry in Riverbank, California stretches back to at least 1892. That year, a group of men from around the San Francisco Bay Area pooled their money and founded the Gun Club of America. The club began manufacturing handguns and ammunition in its own shop on Third Street near Market Street. In 1898, the club moved to an existing building on Geary Boulevard. The new location allowed for greater production and distribution of products, as well as easier access to customers. In 1903, the Gun Club of America became part of the American Rifle Association (ARA). Over time, Riverbank became a center for firearms production and sales. In 1925, NRA president John Fenton established a plant called "Fenton's Firearms Manufacturing Company" in Riverbank to produce rifles and shotguns under license from other companies. The company continued producing firearms until 1967. During World War II, Riverbank was home to one of North America's largest military firearm factories – "Winchester Arms Company". This Manufacture produced over two million rounds of ammunition for American troops serving in Europe and Asia. After the war ended, Winchester Arms Co-operative merged with Remington Repeating Arms Corporation (RRAC) to form what is now Remington Outdoor Incorporated (ROI). Since ROI's inception in 1966, Riverbank has been home to one of North America’s most important rifle manufacturers – ARMSCORp Incorporated (ARMS). ARMSCorp produces precision rifles that are used by Law Enforcement agencies all over the Americas. In addition to rifles and shotguns; ARMSCorp also manufactures muzzleloaders and pistols.

The town was named after a river that ran through it. There is no one answer to this question, as the history of firearms t-shirts has been varied and complex. However, some general points about the industry can be made. The design was inspired by the popular dime novel magazines of that time which often depicted explosive scenes with high-quality graphics. However, even before the proliferation of online retailers and social media platforms, there were several large retailers who sold firearms t-shirts both nationally and internationally. These stores typically stocked a variety of different calibers and models from pistols to rifles. They offered these shirts for sale at prices from $5 to $25 per order. In addition, many gun enthusiasts frequented local shooting ranges or licensed gun stores in order to buy or rent Firearms T-Shirts (FT's) for use during target practice or competition. Riverbank is a small community located in the Inland Empire of California. The community is named after the Riverbank Dam, which was built on the Isabella River by the United States Army in 1923. The dam was later sold to Pacific Gas and Electric Company and became part of their electric company system. As part of this sale, Riverbank also became an incorporated town. The river that forms the border between Riverbank and Imperial County flows through the community. The Isabella River watershed includes parts of central San Bernardino County as well as southern Riverside County. Parts of both counties are within the city limits of Riverside. The first inhabitants in what is now Riverbank were Native American people who lived along both banks of the river for centuries before European settlement began. The indigenous peoples called this area Humboldt Bayou because they believed it supplied water resources for their village near present-day downtown Riverside. When Spanish explorers discovered this area during their voyages across North America, they named it San Bernardino de los Bancos because it resembled a bank that ran into a body of water called Banco de Santa Barbara on Santa Barbara Island in Ventura County (now known as Mission Viejo). Stated differently, these Spanish explorers thought that this body of water defined or separated two branches or arms of a larger bay called La Jolla Bay (the current name for Irvine). In 1821, Narciso Lopez, founder and first headmaster at Mission San Fernando Rey del Catre in Los Angeles county explored what is now Orange County while exploring behalf Mexican General Antonio López de la Torre's army under Colonel José Gabriel Ramírez y Crespo on assignment from Governor Manuel Nieto. Upon his return to Mexico City he reported upon his exploration findings that there were two great bays – La Jolla Bay and Banco de Santa Barbara – which divided California into two sections; one ruled by Spain and one administered by Mexico with its capital at Guadalajara; however no such bay was found east of Yorba Linda where Ramirez founded Rancho Simi Valley on January 8th, 1824 where he built a windmill powered by Wow kindling to generate power for his farmsteads situated along El Sobrante Creek adjacent to Mission Concepcion Chapel - all without any reported human habitation or land utilization until today! I cannot overstate enough how significant this discovery was since it demonstrated not only Mexican jurisdiction over California but also Russia's claim to much northern coastal Sonoma Coast extending inland up including Monterey Point) southward past Sausalito Strait - thus undermining Russian claims made previously via various Petroglyphs/stone paintings dating back thousands years! We should not forget about Captain Cook's voyage HMS Endeavour Discovery & HM Bark Endeavour 1787-91 either...both RN vessels circumnavigated Australia discovering huge tracts more then what we knew prior! Today our understanding about ancient cultures & history comes from Archaeology data collected thru Archaeological Surveys conducted by Federal Agencies...VERY IMPORTANT!!! So when I say “Riverside” my mind automatically goes back 500 YEARS OR MORE TO WHEN THIS AREA WAS UNDER THE RULE OF MEXICO!!! Nowadays we take notice everytime there’s talk about World War III happening due to our Tensions with China!! There were several periods during which development occurred in what would become Riverbank: 1) After gold rush days when streamsflowered around small villages dotting today's Dixon Street neighborhood (1847-1851), farming operations took hold until following construction of Canoga Avenue Railroad connecting San Bernardino with eastern Riverside Countybeginning around 1876 2) A period lasting 1861-1923 when USArmy constructed Riverbank Dam becoming an incorporated town 3) A time period lasting 1951-1973 during which Pershing National Air Force Base operated concurrently with nearby Fullerton Airport 4) During 1974–1989 post office operated outof Building #5 next door belonging to Mrs Maynard 5) Currently being redeveloped into upscale housing developments separate from local school district
The first Europeans to visit the area now known as Riverbank were Spanish traders, who visited in 1769. The region was part of Mexican land grants, and not part of California until 1848 when it became a state. The first permanent Anglo-American settlers arrived in the early 1800s, and by 1851 there were over 100 families living on the banks of the river. By 1870, there were 524 people living along the banks of the river. The river was used for irrigation from beginning to end and by 1910 it had become one of the shortest rivers in California with a total length of only 157 miles. In 1920, an armistice was signed between World War I combatants and ended nearriver at Mud Creek Bridge. The original water rights for what is now Riverbank expired in 1942, but future development has allowed for more water access and growth along the bank.
