Reedley, California is a city in western Sacramento County, California. It is the seat of Reedley Unified School District. The population was 40,821 at the 2010 census. Founded in 1887 by John A. Reed and his family as a small cottonseed farmstead on the east side of what is now downtown Reedley, the city grew rapidly when railroads arrived in the late 19th century and construction began on nearby Interstate 5. In 1898, Reedley became part of the newly formed San Joaquin Valley town of Stockton; however, it continued to grow rapidly until its annexation by Reedley in 1922. The city's rapid growth led to increased congestion and pollution within its boundaries and in 1928 an air quality ordinance was passed requiring that all new buildings be built with clean-burning heating systems The 20th century saw significant redevelopment in downtown Reedleys fortunes as local businesses opened their doors to continue expanding into adjacent neighborhoods including North Central Assembly Plaza (later known as City Hall), South Central Assembly Plaza (later known as police headquarters), East Side Market/Grocery store/Gas station (now called First United Methodist Church), Masonic Temple (now known as Parkview Towers apartments) and much later Pappas Steak House & Grill - now closed but long remembered for its early 50s jukebox which still plays classic rock music today! In 1990 City Council voted unanimously to annex Center Street from neighboring University Heights through a form of referendum approved by residents there who had asked for it! This Annexation added an impressive 9 blocks to downtown size making it one of our most vibrant areas today! Downtown business owners quickly redeveloped this area into an exciting mix of new high-end residences, professional offices and services such as restaurants, movie theaters and grocery stores while preserving many historic properties including First United Methodist Church which remains a favorite gathering spot for locals today! Today Downtown Reedleys rich history continues with lively nightlife options available throughout most days during rush hours including several live music venues plus popular bowling alley located just off I-5 Exit 15A!!!

If you have trouble releasing this button without wearing gloves, grab some paper towels and put them between your thumb and first 2 fingers; then press down on both towel bars at once so they form an "X" shape, holding tight against pressure while pulling off all but 1 finger at a time untilReleased - now push down on bar again so released finger goes back into gun's grip

Reedley, California is a small town in Kern County, California. The population was 1,711 at the 2000 census and 1,827 at the 2010 census. It is located in the Kern River Valley and is adjacent to Bakersfield. The community had its start as a post office on May 5, 1877. Reedley was named after Fenton Reed of Los Angeles. The first store opened in 1878 in what is now the downtown area of Reedley. A post office was established here on October 3, 1879 and remained in operation until it closed on July 24, 1948. In 1915 a sawmill was built northwest of town for lumber production; this mill ceased operations in 1922. In 1972 a water filtration plant was built south of town to treat groundwater used by local farmers for irrigation purposes; this plant still operates today. In 1978 Reedley annexed parts of neighboring Bakersfield so that they would form one municipality which became known as Reedley-Bakersfield. Reedley has experienced significant growth over the years with new development coming into the community such as an elementary school and high school being built in 2003 and 2009 respectively; also an arena/cycling track were constructed in 2006 and 2008 respectively making it one of the fastest growing communities around!

In 1857, the city's first post office opened and by 1870 it had 51 residents. In 1898, Reedley became an incorporated city with a population of over 100 people. By 1914, the population had declined to 60 people and by 1920 it had fallen to 25 people. However, during World War II, the city saw an increase in its population as war demand led to new construction in the area that eventually led to a resurgence in its economy in the postwar years.
